Midas stood still, his mind racing, but his Soul attempting to not show anything by all means. The Python was someone Midas had no control over right now, and yet the Sovereigns were circling the issue like this.
If Midas was somehow noticed then would that not be a problem?
Midas kept his thoughts buried deep, refusing to betray any signs of worry. Silence. The SIlence was survival here.
The worst thing was that Midas wanted to turn his perception upwards to see those Sovereigns since their voices were still booming across the space.
One of them, a male with a deep and raspy voice, finally broke the silence. `We'll investigate the Python later,` he declared, his words heavy with authority, while also admonishing them for showing such a scene to Lower Beings. `We have more pressing matters right now.`
