Two days had passed, and it was the 17th day of the Trial. The only crucial happenings in the past few days were the signing of the Non-Aggression Pact, the dissolution of the Groups, and the widespread hunt for Volar Fruits.
Even more interesting was the mass exodus of a few powerful people to the next Trial.
The signing was within Midas' plans and schemes, but the Exodus was uncalled for. Even Midas did not know what prompted it. According to the SINners, there was a major scuffle, and it forced people who had not signed the pact to leave the Trial to survive.
Those people were effectively removed from their previous places of living, and when they retaliated with violence, even more people ganged up on them. It was a baffling situation that forced over 25 A, B and C-Rankers out to the next Trial.
Midas was looking forward to seeing whether they would survive. If they survived, then there was hope for the Secret to survive too.
