As the heavy doors of the Council Building groaned shut, Midas turned to his people, his gaze steady and unyielding. For a moment, there was silence. His people, a mixture of worry and resolve, stared back at him, knowing that if anyone in that room held something of a key to their survival, it was this man. He had proven himself time and time again, and this time, they hoped he could pull another rabbit out of his hat.
"Alright," Midas began, his voice calm yet firm. "We're in a situation we can't avoid. The path ahead is narrow, but it's there. We're going to push through this, and I tell you now, without a doubt, we'll come out stronger. Much stronger than we were before. After all, these Clans are just handing themselves over to us to grow our numbers and make us stronger."
