Midas soared high in the sky on Amaranya's back, with the wind blowing into him and making his outerwear move and flutter. However, his face was a mask of stone, even though deep inside he was having a profound realisation about his abilities.
Midas had come from the Extant Dimension that was way too chaotic, meaning he could not fully display the extent of the abilities of his darkness, however, here things were simpler and much easier. His power had transformed yet again.
Midas knew that he could leave a strand of darkness inside someone and control it from far away, letting it activate later on his command. He had done so with the bomb during the fight with the Council, however now it felt like there was more to it than that.
