Midas' body lay sprawled on the floor as a haunting stillness settled over his form. His chest was not rising indicating him taking breaths. His limbs were not twitching indicating a beating heart. And yet, even with all these indicators of death, he was not a corpse.
And the massive thing lying beside him was also not a corpse either. The massive Draconic Python's body was also completely still, coiled up as if in wait. If anyone were there to witness this scene, they would have assumed the worst.
But they would soon find out they were wrong, especially when they analysed the Energy movement in the body. It would be obvious that although they were deathly still, their bodies still clung to life.
