Midas quickly sped out of the Council Building having wrapped up his conversation with Sam's Secret Lover. It was amusing, yes, but he could not waste time with idle banter, especially if it was with some side character that would soon expose her character.
That girl Santa was the picture image of an overly ambitious woman. Midas had seen it from the first moment when she opened the door and her eyes lit up the way they did, and the way after he flirted with her, she didn't shut him down.
She loves attention, she loves capable men, and Sam is the first of many men she might go after to make her internal fantasies come true. What Midas knew for certain though was that Sam was no idiot, and he was sure he would figure this out soon enough.
