Chapter 83 - Amon Exploration of Manju island

"Rooaaar!"

Two gigantic monsters with the shape of six-legged triceratops and a black and white-colored gigantic lion

The monsters clashed together: the lion's gigantic nails, the triceratops horns, their bodies alone, pure weapons, holding strength a normal mortal could not even dream of achieving, and in a bush next to them was a whiteness.

The whiteness name Amon, he sat in them watching every step they made, but why did he do that? He wanted to learn and get more information. Information for two skills from the path of monsters: the triceratops fist and lions authority.

Two powerful skills were once created and inspired by monsters.

Amon watched how the monsters roared, struck, and talked, and Amon absorbed everything as if he were a sponge.

It repeated until the lion roared with such might and authority that the triceratops flinched.

The flinch was not longer than a single second before the triceratops demise. In the very right moment, the lion bit the triceratops right into his neck, and with a single motion, the lion ripped a gigantic piece out of the triceratops neck.

'This battle is over with my approval, my friends. Thank you for sharing your techniques, you two.'

As the triceratops fell, the lion spit the bloody, tripping meat piece out of his mouth and feasted on the rest of the triceratops.

Amon walked away and devoted himself to his work again. He explored the island, trying to find a place to leave the island; everything he saw still remained the same: plants and monsters.

He even let his Qi flow over the earth of the island; however, the island seemed to be larger than five kilometers, and his other skills, which work in similar ways too, were not reliable. He either detected too many monster activities or was out of range.

However, he did not dare to give up just yet; he was determined to work as hard as he could. He had a wife, friends, and a daughter at home who waited for him to return. Amon was sure that everyone would freak out by now; he and Leon were after all representing the whole guild; if Amon was not there, Leon would do his job, and if Leon was not there, Amon would do his job, but that both were not there has never happened; Leon was after all Spellbanders first member. Now and then Roxanne filled in for the post of Amon's deputy, but Roxanne herself always said that she was only an emergency post and could never keep up with the other two.

Amon was an extremely good leader, and Leon's intelligence has saved their lives several times. Leon shows it rarely, but in his slumbers, a demon constantly plans and never acts rashly.

In recent years, he planned less and less and became simpler and more merciful with his plans, but the monster in him still made some afraid.

Amon saw an enormous tree and decided to climb it. From there on, he could have a better understanding of the island's layout and maybe see a way to the beach, where he could then find, by luck, an opportunity to leave the island.

As he climbed the tree to the top, he realized something, and that was that this island was one of the most gigantic islands in Manju for a reason.

He keeps going; every time he saw a new monster, he compared them with the last one he saw. Amon continued running until he reached the beach; he alone needed four hours to get from the tunnels to the beach. The sea he looked out on was already bathed in the orange of dawn. He still noticed two things, and both scared him.

Far away from the island was a huge shadow and a tentacle that looked gigantic even at the vast distance.

'This is fucking useless; I will go back.' Amon realized one thing: even if he managed to find a way from the island, he would still have four other people behind him that could not get through this island without getting noticed by the around 10 S-Rank monsters he had seen so far, and one thing was sure: one of these monsters would be able to wipe all of them out at once.

Tanta Le and the gigantic shadow seemed to be the reasons why no ship that sailed to this island came back.

Because of this, he returned to where the cave was and would walk with the others through the cave until they found one of these portals. It was the best thing he could think of by now.

He made sure to return as fast as he could to them, and after 3.5 hours of running, he arrived at the entrance of the tunnels again.

The first thing he did when he arrived at the entrance was to search for Leon, Bruna, Thessia, and Krampus. He could not know where they went, and his Qi was once again the only thing he could rely on.

It took him no time to locate them; they were about one and a half kilometers deep into the tunnels. They seemed to have moved faster than he expected, yet it seemed as if they did not move any further.

At this very moment, Amon started scanning the tunnels with his Qi; they did not move for three whole minutes, and this was suspicious. In normal, Leon would make sure that their group would get forward as well as possible.

This either meant that one of them or a few of them needed to rest or they had to plan something before they could walk any further, but there was nothing in front, next under, or between them. He did nothing; he even checked it with different skills; helping was, however, nothing.

"I hope nothing bad happens to them."

Amon moved as fast as he could to this place; he had his ring turned into a sword long ago, and his Qi was prepared to form into any skill he would need.

"Amon, what are you doing here?" Leon asked.

"Searching for longer would be stupid; first, it's already at night. Second, I wouldn't be able to get past all these S-Rank monsters with the four of you; I would suggest that we search for this portal and get away this way."

"Good, but first tell me everything you saw, Amon." Leon said.

"Of course everyone come I will only say this once.
