Vivian was walking down a cobblestone walkway within the compound where the members of the Temple of Priests lived while heading over to the Blacksmith Shop. If she could, she would've already run but she was ashamed to do such a thing. Nevertheless, not only did her steps feel so light but she also postponed taking up another Holy Mission.
I can't wait to use this coupon…!
She finally arrived in front of the Blacksmith Shop building. She stepped inside and then immediately went straight to the counter. And behind the counter were the same shopkeepers, a Priest and a Priestess who were both White Cloaks, the last time she and Marie visited.
"Good morning, sister. How may I help you?" Sike said and smiled.
"Good morning, too, brother," she said with a huge smile on her face and then she placed the coupon on top of the counter. "I'm here to use this."
Both of the shopkeepers looked at the coupon and Sike picked it up.
"What kind of equipment do you wish to exchange this coupon with, sister?"
"Is it possible to get a silver equipment with magical effects?"
Sike shook his head.
"I'm very sorry, sister, but only Mithril-grade and above items can be engraved with Runes. And if you're interested, the cheapest is Mithril-grade with a single Magic Effect and it costs 50 gold coins."
Mithril-grade and above...?
Wait...
There's Iron, Silver, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantite and then legendary metals...
"Is it possible to learn Physical Arts with armor?"
"Do you mean something like a shield, gloves and boots?"
"I mean, is it possible to learn a Physical Art by getting hit? Like, let's say I wear a breastplate and I keep getting hit on my chest, will I be able to learn something like [Armor Mastery]?"
"I've never heard of such a Physical Art. If you're talking something like a defensive Physical Art Mastery, then there's [Shield Mastery]. There's also specialized gauntlets that cover your entire arms which would allow you to learn [Fist Mastery], provided that you use fist attacks."
"What about Physical Art Masteries that don't need any weapon, item or equipment?"
Sike thought about it for a moment.
"Well, there's [Fist], [Leg], [Savage] and [Finger Mastery]. At least that's only for humans."
At least that's only for humans…?
"There's no [Knee], [Elbow] and [Grapple Mastery]?"
"The knee is part of [Leg Mastery] while the elbow is [Fist Mastery]. But for grapple, I'm not sure. But perhaps it falls under the [Savage Mastery]?"
"What about palm? Is there a [Palm Mastery]?"
"It's part of [Fist Mastery]."
"I see," Vivian said and then turned around to point at an item. "I want something like that!"
"A bardiche?"
She returned her gaze to Sike.
"What kind of mastery will I get from that? Is it possible to get both [Axe] and [Spear Mastery] from that? What about [Staff Mastery]?"
Sike's eyes blinked a couple of times.
"No, sister, that only gives [Axe Mastery]. But if you're looking for a weapon that can allow you to learn multiple Physical Art Masteries, then there is the poleaxe which allows you to learn [Axe], [Spear] and [Hammer Mastery]. There's also the halberd but it only allows you to learn [Axe] and [Spear Mastery]."
"How much is it to repair a weapon?"
"It depends on the damage. But the minimum is 3 silver coins."
"I want the poleaxe please."
Sike nodded and then turned to his companion.
"Sister Grace?"
Grace nodded back and then turned to Vivian.
"Please follow me, sister," she said and smiled before leading Vivian to one of the sections of the shop. "These are the silver grade poleaxes."
In front of Vivian were different sizes of the poleaxe, ranging from 4 to 6ft long. However, there was something they all had in common.
"Why is the blade of the axe too small?"
The poleaxe she was pointing at was 6ft long. As for the weapons on its head: the blade of the axe was only about 5 inches long, the hammer was as large as a 10-year-old's fist, and the tip of the was only 4 inches long.
"It is to balance out the weight between both sides."
Vivian focused on the axe and hammer.
"But if that's the case, then how come the bardiche has a long blade?"
"That's because you only have one side to worry about when swinging a bardiche, so it makes it easier to get a feel of which part of the weapon you're swinging. But for the poleaxe, if the axe is heavier compared to the hammer and you use the hammer to strike an opponent, due to the uneven weight, the strike would be weaker. The same can be said if the hammer is heavier compared to the axe."
"Oh… okay… I'll take the poleaxe…"

Vivian entered an Apothecary Shop which was also located within the compound where the members of the Temple of Priests live. She headed to the counter and there was a White Cloak Priestess sitting behind it reading a book.
"Hi, do you sell soap here?"
The Priestess put down the book and turned to Vivian.
"Yes. What scent do you want, sister?"
"What is the most popular one?"
"Rese."
"Do you have something like lavender?"
"Lavender?"
"Something color violet or purple."
"We have damsies."
"How much?"
"5 silvers."
"Do you also have the green stick for cleaning teeth?"
"Yes, 1 copper."
"Add that one as well. By the way, what is the best way to wash hair?"
"Soap is enough. But if you want to make the scent of your hair last even longer, you can brush it with oil -- we also sell damsies scent oil."
"How much is it?"
"3 silvers."
"Please add that also."
"Anything else?"
"Nothing."
"Okay, please wait for a moment."
The Priestess began gathering all of the items that Vivian ordered and wrapped them with a piece of cloth before handing them over to her.
"Can I ask how much is the Mana Potion and how many types of Mana Potions are there?"
"It's the same as Healing Potions. 5 silvers for the Low-Mana Potion, 10 silvers for the Medium-Mana Potion and 20 silvers for the High-Mana Potion."
"How much mana will I be able to recover if I drink a Low-Mana Potion?"
"About two [Heal] spells."
"What about the Medium-Mana Potion?"
"About three [Heal] spells."
"And the High-Mana Potion is five [Heal] spells?"
The Priestess nodded.
"That is correct."
"If a person drinks a Mana Potion, will it automatically recover their mana or do they have to wait for like a few seconds?"
"It automatically recovers your mana like a how a Healing Potion automatically heals your wounds."
"I see. Thank you," Vivian and then paid before leaving.

Vivian entered a tailoring shop which was also located within the compounds where the members of the Temple of Priests lived.
"Hi, sister, how may I help you?" a White Cloak Priestess with glasses greeted her.
"I'm looking to buy a pair of pants, something that's good for traveling and fighting."
"Do you want loose or fitting? Both are stretchable."
"Fitting."
"Any particular color you like?"
"Black. Do you also have a shirt for traveling and fighting? Black as well."
"Yes, we do. We also have both loose and fitting, and long-sleeves as well -- great for protection from insects. And of course, it's stretchable."
"Hmm… I want the long-sleeve, black. How much for the both of them?"
"It would be 14 copper coins."
"Make it 2 black long-sleeve shirts and pants."
"Okay, sister."

Vivian entered the Mission Room. But before coming here, she went back to the female dormitory to change her clothes and also leave the things she bought.
She wore her Brown Cloak, her gold necklace with a vertically stretched-out sun pendant and her Copper I Rank pendant. And underneath her cloak was her leather armor with a black fitting and stretchable long-sleeve underneath, fingerless gloves, black fitting and stretchable pants, a pair of worn-out leather boots with a metal plate covering its tips, and a water pouch and a small sack around her waist. Meanwhile, for her weapons, she was carrying a poleaxe that she used like a walking staff and had a kitchen knife inside her left boot. And as for her sword, whip and satchel, she left them back at the dorm as well.
"Hi, Brother Ezekiel."
"Sister Vivian, how nice to see you again. How may I help you?"
"Is there a Quest -- I mean, Mission Board here?"
"It's that one over there," he said and pointed.
"I see. Thank you," she said and went to the Mission Board.
When she got to the board, she immediately began reading the papers posted.

Hmm…
I'm going to take the Bank Account mission…
Hopefully it won't be as tedious as setting up a Bank Account like my original world…
