"Who do you think that is?" Kane asked. "Are you expecting anyone, Mother?"
Hera frowned and shook her head.
"That's Tyrian," they both said in unison.
"But what does he want with you?"
Kane walked to the door and opened it for the noble to come in.
"Aren't you supposed to be seated for the meeting with Father?
"Meeting?" Hera asked with a confused look on her face. "What meeting are you people talking about ?"
One of the things Hera hated the most was being in the dark about things -- especially the ones going on within the palace -- under her nose. She couldn't bear things being kept from her. It made her feel disrespected and undermined. She could kill if she found out someone had sidelined her. And now, it seemed like that was what was happening. How was it that there was a meeting with Raymond and she, his wife, didn't know anything about it?
