"Your food…" Zuri called as Jaden gently pulled her out of the kitchen. As she looked back into the kitchen, Zuri could not count the pair of eyes plastered on them. Her face reddened but he couldn't do anything about how the price dominated her and ushered her out of the kitchen. It was obvious Jaden didn't care about what the people said, but why would he? Zuri wondered. He was the prince of the kingdom. But she was just a slave and everything spoken about her crossed her ears. Zuri wasn't shielded from such as she lived amongst the servants and the like. She heard it all – saw all the stares and glares. It was uncomfortable to be in such a position.
"Jaden…" Zuri called.
"Let's get to the chambers first…"
Zuri agreed as a small smile played on her lips. She liked how KJaden was with her and she blushed when she thought about them being alone again in his quarters.
