Chapter 76 - Stephan Asks Finally

Jaden had been summoned for the meeting but he didn't feel up to it. He still sat in his room and had snuffed out all the candles that were lit. He felt like being in the dark for as long as he needed as his mind swirled with thoughts of Zuri. She raided his mind. He didn't have control of his thoughts any longer. There was something she was doing to him – she was eating – digging her way deep into him and Jaden didn't know how to stop it. He wasn't sure he wanted to stop it. Anytime he thought of her, his heart skipped a beat. Anytime she was around him, it felt like nothing else mattered and they were the only ones in the world. He had never ever felt that way for anyone in his life – so much so that he didn't know how to handle the emotions that she conjured within him.
