Adelaide never expected to wake up to a commotion right outside her estate. Was this another of her father's plans? What a piece of shit. What more lies was he here to tell?
What if he was here to make amends? Adelaide couldn't believe she even had an ounce of hope left for that man. All he knew was how to lie to get his way. He could enjoy it all he liked, because after all, no one couldn't delay the inevitable.
"Leoric!" Adelaide called. After hearing no response, she started feeling for his aura. He was out in the village along with an army of villagers.
Adelaide wasn't surprised that her brother had found trouble. As much as she loved him, she couldn't help but get annoyed at his stunts.

Filippa did not expect something eventful to happen today.
Lady Flora was liked by everyone except for her and Adelaide.
And whatever trick she just pulled had lowered her self-respect. Filippa and Lady Flora used to be friends when they were younger. Whatever trust she had in Lady Flora had diminished.
Lady Flora had confronted Filippa this morning about Adelaide, how she was no longer a noble, and that she should ditch her.
Filippa couldn't believe she was hearing this at all. She would never leave Adelaide to fend for herself instead. In the end, it was Adelaide who came out on top of Lady Flora.
Filippa already knew that Lady Flora was not a pure soul, and this just proved her point even more.
