Ealdred, in search of a peaceful solution to the Orc-Human war, goes to Woodland Village to speak with Galen but is surrounded by elf warriors.
The elf warrior instantly recognizes the token, as it is made from the World Tree's wood. "Alright, I will give this token to Chief Galen, and by the time you humans follow us to the Guard Post," Ealdred agrees to follow the guards.
The Elf warrior informs Galen of the situation through the link to the World Tree. "Bring those humans to my house," Galen says calmly. "But Chief, bringing humans inside the village..." the elf warrior is a bit confused as to why Galen wants to bring humans inside the village. "Just bring them in and don't worry; I am here," Galen reassures the elf sensing the warrior's worry.
As Ealdred and Edin enter the elf village through the portal, they are surprised. "Edin, you are a 3rd circle mage, right?" Ealdred whispers. "Yes, Your Majesty, but even our palace archmage, who is an 8th circle mage, can't do it. I'm sure of it. Using a portal as the entrance gate means that no matter how many enemies there may be, you can never enter the elf village without the portal," Edin says in a low and surprised voice.
"Is there any way to bypass it in any way?" King Ealdred whispers. "You can try killing the archmage who is casting the spell or breaking his connection with the World Tree from where he gets his Infinite Mana," Edin says it in a low and scared tone.
As Ealdred and Edin walk the streets, they see how happy the elves are in the village. The village's small population and size can't be compared to his kingdom, but the smiles on each elf's face make Ealdred envious of Galen's leadership. Ealdred is a smart and wise king who deeply cares about his people and can do anything for his people. He even went to war with the orcs just so his people and his kingdom can prosper.
As Ealdred and Edin enter Galen's house and see Galen, Ealdred extends a hand in friendship, "I, the king of Midland, greet the Guardian of the World Tree, the High Elf Galen," Ealdred greets Galen with utmost respect.
Meanwhile, Kazuma is seated in Elina's lap, enjoying some petting. Just on the side, Kazuma and Elina were at the farm. But when Elina said that some humans had come to the village, Kazuma couldn't control his curiosity and came to Galen's house as fast as he could with Elina. Ealdred and Edin see Elina and Kazuma but don't say anything about it.
"King Ealdred, right? Why have you come here?" Galen says with a straight face. "I have heard of the alliance between elves and orcs, and I just want to talk about it," Ealdred says. As Ealdred says this, Galen, Elina, and Kazuma are shocked, as the alliance was supposed to be kept a secret, but they hear about it from a human king.
"There is no such alliance between orcs and us, so there is nothing to talk about," Said Galen.
