The morning sun painted the sky with hues of orange and gold, signalling the start of a new day in the elf village. As Kazuma woke up early and stepped outside, "Is that a sun rise? Wow I had last seen it at Grandmas Village when I was a kid it's been a long time" kazuma remembering the nostalgic days of him bing not lazy! "Galen and Elina what are they talking about with such a serious face" Galan and Elina engaged in a hushed conversation. The worry etched on their faces caught Kazuma's attention, "Galen Elina is everything alright?" Kazuma couldn't help but inquire about the cause of their distress.
Galan, his expression serious, explained, "Some unexpected guests are on their way to the village. We've received word of a group of outsiders heading this way, and their intentions are unclear."
Kazuma's curiosity was piqued, and he asked, "Outsiders? Are they a threat to the village?"
Elina nodded, her eyes filled with determination. "We are not sure yet, but it's better to be cautious. The village warriors are taking their positions to ensure everyone's safety."
Intrigued and concerned, Kazuma followed Galan and Elina through the portal outside the village. There, he saw a line of elf warriors, their faces determined and their weapons gleaming in the sunlight. The atmosphere was tense as if a storm was brewing on the horizon.
Kazuma gulped nervously. He was not a warrior, nor did he possess exceptional combat skills like the elves. Still, he couldn't ignore the feeling that he needed to contribute in some way.
As they came closer, Kazuma immediately recognized them as orcs—green-skinned, strong, and towering. It was his first encounter with orcs, and he noticed something different about them. They were wearing proper armour and carrying iron weapons, indicating a level of organization uncommon among orcs Kazuma knows of through many Anime and Manhwa's.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Kazuma asked Galan, "Are they here to fight?"
Galan replied, "If they wanted war, they would have notified us. Orcs are proud warriors; they do not resort to sneak attacks."
Kazuma further inquired, "So, do you have any idea what they want?"
Galan shook his head. "Not really. It's quite unusual for orcs to seek contact with elfs."
Curious about the strength of the orcs, Kazuma used "Eye of Gaya" ability to assess their abilities. Most of the orcs displayed impressive physical strength and were well-equipped, but their mana and wisdom levels were not as pronounced as the Guardian Elves.
Among them, Shield Rockhead, the orc leader, stood out. His status revealed him to be an orc general and champion, a formidable force to be reckoned with.
