Chapter 10 - Elf village. 5

After summoning the spirits and saving the world tree, Kazuma fell into a deep slumber that lasted for three days. During this time, Elina faithfully stood guard by his side, ensuring his safety. Meanwhile, the villagers seized the opportunity to visit Kazuma, marveling at his cute and fluffy appearance and pondering how such a small being could have been their village's savior.

As Kazuma slowly awakened from his slumber, he found himself in a realm bathed in ethereal light. Confusion and curiosity filled his eyes as he took in his surroundings. A voice echoed in his mind, breaking the silence.

[Cat-System

"Kazuma... Kazuma, are you listening?"]

Kazuma blinked, trying to gather his thoughts. "Where am I?" he questioned, his voice filled with a mixture of wonder and uncertainty.

[Cat-System

"This is my spirit world. Welcome, Kazuma, as you are the first to enter and see it."]

Kazuma's eyes widened with surprise. "You had something like this before?"

[Cat-System

"No! I just built it recently after gaining a significant number of contribution points. Your heroic act of saving the world tree greatly increased my power and authority."]

Kazuma's brows furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean? How did saving the world tree make you stronger?"

[Cat-System

"As you know, I grow and become stronger as you gain recognition and expand your presence in this world. The more you accomplish, the more authority and power I acquire. By saving the world tree and restoring balance to Gaya, you have brought me a significant amount of recognition and contribution points, allowing me to enhance my abilities and create this spirit world."]

Kazuma's mind raced as he tried to comprehend the implications of the Cat-System's words. He had no idea that his actions had such far-reaching consequences, not only for the physical world but also for the entity that guided him.

The Cat-System continued, its voice filled with a newfound sense of authority. "Kazuma, as a result of your achievements, I have gained more authority and resources. This spirit world is a manifestation of that power. It will serve as a sanctuary and training ground for you, offering you new opportunities to grow and unlock your potential."

Kazuma's eyes shimmered with excitement and curiosity. He couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude towards the Cat-System, realizing that their partnership had truly become a symbiotic relationship.

As Kazuma immersed himself in this magical realm, a question nagged at his mind. He turned to the Cat-System, seeking answers. "I have been wondering, the Cat-System. A system is supposed to give me quests, tasks, and rewards. But so far, you haven't provided me with any. Why is that?"

The Cat-System responded, shedding light on the matter. "I apologize for the lack of quests. At the time, I had exhausted my available points to provide you with starting rewards. However, I have been working on plans to increase your presence and influence in the world, and that is why I have created this spirit world."

As if in response to Kazuma's inquiry, a quest materialized before him, floating in the air.
