The manager's voice went cold after hearing that remark. Mr. Zhang had caused problems before, but they were always easily resolved with a nod and an apology. Thus, the manager hadn't said much about it.
Each time an issue arose, he would just scold Mr. Zhang a few more times. Apart from being vain and mocking customers, which wasn't good, Mr. Zhang had worked diligently without any other problems. And then there was that relative of his who held a high position, which made it difficult for anyone to criticize or accuse him.
The manager had borne it until now, but the complaints weren't a one-off; he had already warned Mr. Zhang for the last time, telling him to stop his shenanigans. Unfortunately, Mr. Zhang hadn't taken his words to heart.
