Unlimited Spider asked, "What's the problem?"
Ultimate Spider replied, "In your world, at least four people have access to the express elevator— the Fantastic Four. There's a possibility of catching an opportunity to go up with them. In this world, though, there's only one inheritor currently, and he's inside the building. Unless we wait for him to leave, but that chance is slim, right?"
Unlimited Spider awkwardly said, "Okay, fair point. We can't afford to wait around."
He felt somewhat disheartened.
He thought his "successful experience" could smoothly solve problems for the team.
"It's alright, the information you provided is already quite good. At least we've ruled out some definitely unworkable plans and avoided potential dangers as much as possible," consoled Ultimate Spider, trying to lift Unlimited Spider's spirits.
After pondering for a moment, Unlimited Spider suddenly remembered something.
He quickly added, "I remember another way to get to the top five floors!"
The others brightened up, turning their attention to him.
Unlimited Spider continued, "When I was a student visiting the Baxter Building, I learned that if visitors take one of the regular elevators in the lobby to the 30th floor, they can find the 'Fantastic Four Reception Area' inside."
"In the reception area, there's a Miss Roberta, who is actually a robot—above the waist, she looks like a charming blonde in her twenties, and below connects to a rotating arm on the reception area desk. She's directly connected to the Fantastic Four's computer control system and has the ability to monitor the entire building! It's said that if she detects hostile intentions from visitors, she'll control a device hidden in the reception area's floor and emit a shocking electric discharge!"
Initially puzzled, the tech-savvy Ultimate Spider quickly grasped the crux of the matter.
"So, if this robot, Miss Roberta, is still there, or if that mechanical rotating arm is still there! If we find a way to disable it temporarily, thus gaining control of the main computer, we could open the lift platform at the top and gain access!"
Then, he looked at Miles and started assigning tasks, "So, Miles, you go and investigate first."
Miles nodded, making an ok gesture, stealthily disappearing again, heading towards the Baxter Building.
Before long, Miles returned with news.
Perhaps because the entire world had already been overtaken by the inheritors, they were quite open in placing some information on the surface.
Through the lobby's floor directory, they could visually see the entire layout of the Baxter Building—or rather, the surface distribution structure of the inheritor's cloning company.
Floors 1 to 30 remained "ordinary floors."
However, in reality, there were no ordinary tenants inside. Instead, each floor had a large number of clone guards assigned, an unknown quantity.
But from Miles' brief observation in the lobby, it seemed no less than twenty people on each floor.
This meant there were five to six hundred clone guards just in the ordinary floors alone!
Still, soldiers in exoskeleton armor, armed with large-caliber firearms, were everywhere!
Sure enough, on the 30th floor, there was a "reception area," but it was uncertain whether the "robotic receptionist, Miss Roberta," was still present.
However, this was now the only possible breakthrough point. Even if she wasn't there, they had to try.
What surprised them, though, was that floors 31 to 35 were specifically labeled with their respective purposes.
The 31st floor was designated as a residential area, housing the residence of each inheritor in this world.
The 32nd floor contained recreational areas, medical laboratories, libraries, and data rooms.
As for the 33rd, 34th, and 35th floors, they were all labeled as laboratories. Though not very detailed, if these floor labels were accurate, their ultimate goal lay within these three floors—33, 34, and 35!
Following this, they began reallocating tasks.
This time, they planned to divide into two teams.
One team needed to infiltrate the building's interior and reach the 30th floor.
This team required ample infiltration skills and computer expertise (black computing), so it was decided that Ultimate Spider would lead Miles and Unlimited Spider.
The other team had to find a way to reach the top floor of the building, wait for the lift platform to open, quickly search from top to bottom, and cause disruptions!
This team consisted of Spider-Gwen, Spider-Noir, and Armored Spider.
Once assignments were made, the two groups split up and commenced their actions.
Meanwhile, in another universe, the battle between Mark, the five inheritors, and their henchmen had escalated into a fierce confrontation.
Verna's involvement had significantly boosted the strength of the inheritors' side.
The arrival of her henchmen and Vulture's aides had impressed Mark.
To prevent complications where they might defeat the inheritors here, only to have them revived in the Earth-802 universe, potentially interfering with Spider-Gwen and her team's actions, Mark had been carefully trying to control the battle on his end.
Actually, he had several opportunities earlier to directly take out Bora and Brix, the two relatively weaker inheritors, but he refrained from doing so.
Now, with the arrival of Verna's Hound Legion, Vulture's forces, and the addition of Morlun's Namurrah Legion, the semi-mechanical army finally gathering from various parts of the city, Mark could finally let off some steam against these individuals who had been chasing him around.
With a swift movement, he appeared in front of two of Verna's Hounds.
His rapid actions startled even Verna, who had just arrived.
Mark extended both hands, gripping the necks of the two hounds, fiercely knocking their heads together, and then forcefully shoving them toward the incoming Vulture.
One of the Vultures clearly didn't expect this sudden attack and was directly hit.
The other, quicker in reaction, dodged the blow.
Mark charged directly towards the downed Vulture, clasping his hands together into a large mace, viciously striking him.
"Ah!"
The Vulture emitted a sharp and brief scream, plummeting straight down from dozens of meters high.
His spine was directly shattered by Mark's blow, severely injuring him in midair, and upon crashing to the ground, he succumbed to the injuries.
"Haa!" Mark shouted loudly as flames erupted from his feet, allowing him to levitate in midair.
This was a mimicry of the Human Torch's abilities from the Fantastic Four, granting him the power of flight.
But that was just the beginning.
Mark extended his hands, and fireballs emerged from his body like an all-around Gatling gun, rapidly shooting in all directions.
The sudden attack caught the closer Vultures and airborne Hounds off guard, hitting them.
Only those at a greater distance managed to react and evade the onslaught.
