Chapter 8 - THE WINNER UNDER THE MOONLIGHT

Aria watched the unfolding battle with a mixture of surprise and anticipation. His eyes, which had been closed due to concentration, suddenly opened. "This... That's it," he murmured, his voice a whisper against the wind. "Even if this kid has forgotten his abilities, he is still the best but dangerous"

The battle reached a crescendo as Revy's crimson katana danced in a flurry of deadly arcs. Adam and Lili staggered back, their attacks repelled by an invisible force that seemed to emanate from the very core of the young man. Seyrin and Lizzy exchanged a concerned glance; the boy was more than they bargained for.

Seyrin stepped back, his breathing heavy. He had underestimated this child. The sneer on his face twisted into a grimace as he saw the unyielding determination in Revy's eyes. "This isn't over," he growled, his hand reaching for his sword hilt.

Revy felt the energy rise within her; The strength of the three personalities was now in harmony. The crimson katana glowed like a sign of anger. His gambler personality took over his body. "Still, I wouldn't want to fight a beauty like you?" after taking a breath "but you're sexier this way!" he shouted.

The battle was intense, a symphony of steel and sweat. Each clang of the blade resonated through the night, a testament to the power and skill that lay within the young boy's frail frame. The gambler within him taunted, playing mind games with the attackers, while the swordsman and the shy one watched, feeding him strategy and precision.

Lizzy's eyes narrowed, her lips moving in an incantation that was as sinister as the shadows she wielded. Her magic reached out to entangle Revy, but the swordsman anticipated her move. The shy personality whispered a counterspell, the words a secret shared only within the confines of their minds. The spell shattered against an invisible barrier, showering the clearing with sparks of light.

Revy felt the thrill of battle, the adrenaline that came with the dance of life and death. He could feel Arian's eyes on him, watching from the safety of the trees. His breath was replaced by the pounding of his heart in his chest and the hiss of steel against steel.

Suddenly, the swordsman took control, and Revy's movements grew more calculated, more precise. With a swift motion, he disarmed Seyrin, sending the sword flying into the night. The gambler chuckled in his mind, "Looks like you've met your match, old man." But the swordsman's voice remained serious, "This isn't a game, this is life and death."

The crimson light surrounding the katana grew brighter, and with a final, powerful swing, Revy sent the four attackers sprawling into the dirt. The air was still, the only sound the labored breathing of the combatants. Aria stepped out from the shadows, her eyes flashing with anger. "Enough," she said, her voice like thunder in the silence.

The four assailants looked up at her, fear replacing the confidence they had once worn so proudly. Seyrin clutched his sword, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and defeat. Lizzy's incantations died on her lips, and Adam's bow hung limply at his side. Lili stared at the ground, her shadows retreating into the folds of her clothing like a cowed animal.

"If you disobey my decisions again," Aria said, her voice like thunder in the silence. "I will kill you all"

Her emerald eyes blazed with fury, and the four attackers cowered before her, their earlier bravado evaporated like mist in the sun. Seyrin's hand hovered over his sword hilt, his knuckles white with tension. Lizzy's mouth moved to form a retort, but the words died in her throat as Aria's gaze fell upon her. Adam's bow quivered in his trembling hand, and Lili's shadows shrank around her, as if trying to hide from the wrath of their mistress.
