In a cemetery where Wen's body had been buried, all was silent and the only sound there were some dogs who were sleeping right outside the boundaries of the cemetery. But then their ears perked up as they looked at the sky as they sniffed the air.
A beam of golden light appeared from the sky as it parted the clouds around it causing the dogs to get up scared at the sight. The beam of light shot and hit Chen Wen's grave as the dogs barked at it in fright before the light died down.
The dogs went silent as nothing happened and the place was silent after that happened. Then Wen's grave marker started to gain cracks on it that started in the middle. Then it was destroyed into pieces from the inside startling the dogs again as they barked at the place scared.
The dogs watched as a hand, a healthy fair skinned human hand raised from the rectangular hole at the place as it grabbed on. Then Chen Wen pulled himself out of the hole with his body, though there wasn't any clothes on him which he didn't notice.
He looked at his surroundings and breathed using his nose as he felt the air go through his nose and also passing by his body with closed eyes. He gained a smile on his face when he felt it before he opened his eyes and placed his hands on his hip with a bright smile.
"It's good to be alive." Wen said with a smile.
Then he looked at his state of undress and then raised his right hand which was covered in the same golden energy as the one which struck his grave. Then casual clothes appeared over his body as he smiled more. He then stretched his body as he felt his physical body after so long as he did some stretches before taking a deep breath and letting it out through his mouth.
"Okay, time to see what has changed after my death." Wen said with a smile before he walked away from his grave.
He passed the gate and saw the dogs, but they didn't attack him. Instead they became calm when they saw him as the energy he was exuding to them was calming them as they calmed down and wagged their tale at him as he smiled at them.
He then got an idea and then snapped his fingers causing some fresh food to appear in front of the dogs. They were surprised but then started to eat the food happily as Wen walked past them.
Back at the cemetery, the keeper of the cemetery was looking in the direction that Wen went with wide eyes. He looked at the place where Wen's grave was as it has now been broken. Then his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he fell back on the ground unconscious from the events that he had seen in here.
Time skip
"The city hasn't changed much." Wen said as he looked at the city from the top of a large building.
He is able to see the city from the top as he looks at the bustling roads and the people who are going through their daily lives. He could've just used his powers to see the same image but the feeling of seeing things by being present at that place was something that he wanted to feel more so he was happy with it.
"I wonder how my funeral was. Nah, what am I thinking? My family and former in-laws were probably happy that I had died. In such a pathetic state as well. They must've laughed at me and made fun of me." Wen said to himself as he looked at the place.
Then he walked to the side where an adjacent building is as he hopped from his place and fell in the space between the two buildings. The people inside the two buildings didn't notice Wen as he fell down and landed on the ground as he kneeled. But other than the fact that he kneeled, there wasn't any problem with him as he stood up without breaking a sweat.
He looked above him and smiled at how he was able to do that. Then he walked through the alley and out of it and joined the crowd of people on the ground as he blended in with them perfectly. He looked at the sights with a smile and a wave of nostalgia.
'I didn't actually take my time to look at the city huh.' Wen thought to himself with a smile.
He then looked at the people and through his own vision he could see gold translucent energy inside them. He could also see the spirit meridians of the people as he walked past them.
"I wonder how Lin's company is doing?" Wen wondered out loud.
'Well, there's no harm in checking it out.' Wen thought to himself as he walked in the direction of the company.
He reached the place by walking for an hour, it took that long because he had spent time checking some shops and buying some food to eat. Even though he didn't need to eat or drink to sustain his physical body he was still happy about it.
After he reached the company he walked inside but was surprised to find that the people seemed to be agitated which confused him.
"I'm going to sue you!" The sound of an angry girl caught his attention.
He looked at the direction where the voice came from and saw a girl with light pink hair which reaches her waist, fair skin, blue eyes and wearing quite a good looking dress.
However, she has a lot of dark spots and pimples on her face as she seems to be accusing a staff member who is trying to placate her.
"Please mam, I'm sure we can find a solution." The staff tried to calm her down as he was very nervous.
"My face is like this because of your products! I don't care about what you have to say! You better fix my face otherwise I'll make sure that your company will be in big trouble!" The girl said to him as she glared at him.
"Um, is there a problem here?" Wen asked her as he stood beside them.
"Who are you!?" The woman said angrily.
"I just wanted to know about the situation here. Maybe I can help." Wen said to her as he looked at her face.
'So that's what's wrong with her face.' Wen thought to himself as he has already realised what the problem is.
"Really? Then can you fix my face!" The woman asked angrily.
"I can." Wen said confidently with a smile.
"Alright then, I'll give you a chance, but if you screw this up then I'm sueing both you and this company." The woman said to him with a glare.
"Done." Wen said easily.
"You! How dare you make deals like that! You useless bastard!" The staff shouted at him as he realised who it is.
The other people also recognised the one standing in front of them as the ex-husband of Xiao Lin as they were murmuring amongst themselves. But Wen didn't care about it.
'Do they not know that I had died? Well, works for me.' Wen thought to himself.
"I'll be right back." Wen said as he walked out of the building.
The women was fuming as the staff tried to placate her when Wen entered the building again with a bag full of herbs and water and a stone bowl.
"I'll make it in an instant." Wen said to the woman before he started to work.
He also made sure to infuse the concoction with Ki to help increase its effects before presenting the bowl of herbal paste to the woman. Which looked like a green sludge type of thing.
"Put this on your face." Wen said to her with a cheerful smile.
"This thing?" The woman asked as she looked at the concoction with worry.
The other staff were also worried as they looked at it. The woman slowly put the sludge on her face but Wen decided that she is too slow and smeared her face with it shocking the staff.
"Ahhh!" The woman screamed in shock when she felt her face being covered in it.
"There, all done. Now you just have to wash your face." Wen said to her with a smile.
"Ok!" The woman said as she immediately bolted to the bathroom.
Wen has a satisfied look on his face while the others looked worried. Then they heard a scream from the bathroom of the woman which caused them to panic.
"You bastard!" The staff member who was talking to the woman shouted as he grabbed his collar and glared at him.
Wen in response just looked at the man. He then grabbed the man's hand and applied pressure on it causing the man to let go. He then let go of the man's hand as the door to the bathroom opened and the people looked at there.
"Wow brother! My face is back to normal!" The woman said with a happy face as she walked out of the bathroom.
Her face has been cleared of all the pimples and dark spots. The staff were shocked when they saw it while Wen gave the man beside him a smirk at his victory.
