3rd Person POV:
31- year old Bhavana is trying to console her 11- year old son Tanush aka Tory, who was constantly crying. He had just survived a murder attempt. As soon as he was awake, he couldn't control his tears. He was an 11- year old boy with immovable legs, living with his mother. When Bhavana, his mother, heard him crying, she rushed to his side and started consoling him. She had called the police, after thinking about all the strange yet scary things which happened to them.
Vikram, the inspector whom Bhavana called, started to rush to the hospital when he was called by the Commissioner, Mr. Vijayakumar, IPS.
"Where are you rushing to, Vikram?" he asked. "To Edison hospital, sir. I got a telephone call from an unknown number and woman who spoke said that someone is trying to murder her son", Vikram replied. "Really...Can I come with you?", he asked. "Of course, sir" Vikram told.
They went to the hospital in the police jeep. Vikram told the receptionist the room no. and she told him the direction. They were in the elevator when Vijay asked him their details. "Her name is Bhavana and she has a son with disabilities. She told me that she was out for some errands when somebody broke the main door open. She also told me that, that person must've covered themselves from top to botton as her son couldn't see their face. That person had attacked her son. Luckily the arrived home before the attacker killed him. When she entered Tory's room, he was unconscious, on the floor. She took him to the hospital, where he told her everything that happened, "Vikram told him. Vijay nodded and they entered the room where Tory still couldn't stop crying.
Bhavana stood when she saw the policemen enter. Vijay signalled her to sit and walked towards Tory. He patted his shoulder and said, "There's nothing to cry about. These are just common things which happen everyday. Don't worry, we are here to solve the issue. Okay?" Tory stopped crying and looked at his mom, who arranged chairs for them to sit.
Vikram asked Bhavna to tell the details. She started, " I am Bhavna, a single mother who works as an professor. I was out for an errand, when the intruder entered ou-"
"In which vehicle did out go", Vijay asked.
"Car"
"Mmm... Continue."
"That intruder u-used a b-bat to try and k-kill my son", her voice started to break as tears flowed down her cheek. She couldn't control herself, with the thought of someone coming for her son's life.
Vijay suddenly stood up and kicked his chair as a sign of frustration. Bhavna jerked a little at his act as looked at him with shock in her eyes. Vijay mocked her saying, "So now you are telling us that someone broke into your house, attacked your son, while you were not there, and you classified it as murder attempt. Wow." Then he clapped mockingly and said with a clear frustration in his voice, "You didn't even think once that he might be a robber, trying to steal your jewels, did you? Just because he attacked your son doesn't mean that he was on the sole purpose of murdering your son."
Bhavna yelled a little "I can prove it"
"How" Vijay asked raising his left eyebrow.
"That's because this is the 3rd time my son is getting targeted. First in his school; second in school's fieldtrip; and now the third time in our. OWN. HOUSE" she emphasized, as the whole room fell in silence.
