While flying over this chasm before, Byron had not got time to carefully observe it because of the tension between him and Tsundria... and the battle that followed it.
Now that he was on his own, he could note a few things. Whatever that had led to the creation of this chasm didn't seem like a natural phenomenon. Even if it was, it was too breathtaking to be called natural.
To him, there is no normal thing—be it a flood or an earthquake—that could have split the world into two halves, a fog of a never-ending steam covering it as if some kind of liquid was boiling on the bottom.
