Back at their makeshift camp, Johan, Ken, and Danny gathered together, their faces bathed in the soft glow of the phosphorescent moss. Johan laid out the stones they had collected, and Ken carefully presented his analysis of the creature's scent. 'We have pieces of the puzzle,' Johan thought, 'but do they fit together?'
Ken's Ghoul senses had revealed valuable insights about the creature's scent, and Johan's self-talk couldn't help but acknowledge, 'Ghoul boy's got a nose for this stuff, I'll give him that.' Aloud, he said, "This scent could be our ticket. It disorients the creature, buys us time."
Danny chimed in, "That's where the diversion comes in." He pointed to the choke points marked on the map, "If we release the scent there, it'll lead the creature away from our main objective."
Johan raised an eyebrow, 'Diversion, huh? Not a bad idea.' Aloud, he said, "But we need something to draw its attention. It's gotta believe there's something worth chasing."
