The path Johan trod upon, paved with damp mossy stones, suddenly vibrated with an unsettling rhythm. He halted, the atmosphere tensing around him, as the green foliage rustled with an unnatural vigor. Before he could make sense of it, a massive toad emerged from the thicket, its shimmering reddish-brown skin glowing eerily under the forest's luminescent canopy.
'Okay, this is new,' Johan mused internally, taking a cautious step back, his eyes locked onto the creature. 'A lava-spewing toad. Because why not?'
Without warning, the toad's throat expanded grotesquely. Johan's instincts screamed danger. And then, in a blaze of fiery ferocity, the toad belched forth a stream of molten lava. It roared towards Johan with a frightening speed, its intensity matched only by the rising heat Johan could feel even from a distance.
