When Ren was surrounded by the group of bandits, a strange phenomenon started to happen. With a glass-shattering-like sound, a small crack appeared in space and from it, a golden orb came into existence.
Before the bandits could understand, it unexpectedly moved toward Ren and entered his glabella. The next instant his body started to encircle by a golden glow, healing his injuries observable to the naked eye.
A presence descended that seemed to suffocate the bandits freezing them in their place. They could not even breathe properly.
When the golden glimmer died down, Ren's body got up from his laying position, and all the previous nervousness he felt vanished into thin air. He looked like a completely different person altogether. With a calm expression on his face, he moved toward the first bandit leisurely holding an axe which he did not let go even on the verge of death.
His movements were more mechanical than human-like. With a single slash, he beheaded the closest man and then he disappeared.
From the point of the remaining bandits, Ren seemed to have vanished but in reality, he was moving at a speed they could not detect. Ren started to kill them. Every time he moved, one head would fly.
There was no special technique but only slash, the most basic skill of swordsmanship. By the time they could move just two of them remained only to get slaughtered by Ren in the next instant.
Ren was oblivious to his surroundings or more like the 'thing' controlling his body. Blood covered his whole face and tattered clothes making him look like a devil. It did not feel in the slightest this was the first time his body was experiencing such brutality. It more seemed like the 'being' wanted to show Ren what he could do in the future.
Finishing off the group, Ren started to run in the direction of the woods or at least he tried to. Cause he could sense many presences coming to his place and one of them he could not overlook. So instead he picked up a sword from one of the bandits nearby and hid in the foliage waiting.

In the Mistwood Village, after ensuring all the villagers had died the bandits started to gather the dead bodies in a single position.
"Leader everything is done. Store these bodies so we could leave this damm place. " vice leader, Ying Long spoke irritated.
The leader, Xuan Ming, at this moment, was rummaging through the village chief's house after killing him. There were no significant resources other than some natural herbs to help one awaken and some silver coins. Even though it could be called a notable amount of money, he still stored them in his storage ring.

Ying Long did not notice some members were missing so far, so he asked one of his men. Then the man started to explain the situation about a boy they caught hidden in the bushes and some of them went to capture him.
Hearing this Xuan Ming could not help but frown. Cause according to this man it had been 15 minutes since they had gone. And to capture a little kid should not take that much time. Something was off.
"Let's go. I feel something is not right about the situation. Be on your guard. It could be a strong demonic beast." ordering everyone he started to move in Ren's current direction.
But after reaching the place, the bandits froze seeing the condition of the bodies laying on the ground. And from the clean-cut of sword attacks, they could easily understand it was not a work of beasts.
Taking advantage of the situation, Ren's body moved. He already detected who was the strongest one but he could not ambush him. So he decided to kill the second strongest person.
Because Ying Long was standing next to Xuan Ming, Ren had no choice but to throw his sword to instantaneously kill him. And he succeeded in killing Ying Long.
Ren had made minimum movements to avoid alerting the opponents and by the time leader of the group seemed to understand what was happening it was already late.
Seeing their vice leader die, the bandits became terrified. They started to run in different directions. After all, they were not a trained group but outlaws.
After killing Ying Long, Ren also entered the woods and began to kill bandits one after another. The calm forest once again became noisy, but this time it was the predators that became the prey.
Ren or the system knew Ren was not strong enough to survive in case a stronger enemy came here. So he could not let them live to avoid spreading the news.
It did not take much to kill the mobs but fighting against the one-eyed middle-aged man he suffered terribly.
