"Help, please help me!" Shouting, despite knowing nobody hears her. The disorderly figure gets closer and closer to her.
Running straight into the monster, a teen puts a piece of paper onto the back of the figure. Dodging each attack like it had a designed system of movement. The teen slashes his sword at it, which creates enough space between them. Putting his hands together. He whispers, "Explode."
As soon as he said that, the paper began to shine, then soon after. The monster was engulfed in massive flames. Looking at the thing, he looks to his side and gets to the woman.
"Are you okay? Did it hurt you anywhere?" Checking her body, he determines she doesn't need to be examined. "Seems like there's no effect on your spirit or body." Helping her get up, he tells her to go home.
Pulling out a talisman, he begins to say a report.
[Target took out, reporting back. The victim is safe. We need another squadron pronto.]
Making sure the woman got away safely, he picked up his sword.
"Let's dance, shall we!" Rushing to the monster's side, he does a quick swipe to its head, only to miss. Still not giving up, he continued the onslaught of attack. Aiming for the legs, arms, eyes, anything to damage it.
"Whew, I'm not getting anywhere." Changing up his approach, he pulls out a talisman. "Light bringer." Running to the monster, he dodges an attack and slides under its feet. Then places the paper on its back. "Begone!"
Shinning in bright light. The monster begins to quickly fade away.
Taking out another talisman, he sends back a report.
[ Mission completed.]
Moving away from the site, he quickly makes it back to base.
Getting greeted by a young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, slightly tall with a nicely defined figure. "How was your mission today?"
"Tiring, but it was worth it." Smiling at what he said, she urges him to sit down at the table she's at.
Playing with his hair like a loving mother, she asks about his day. "Well, the school day was average. Not the best day, but it was fun. Oh, I also got the college admission."
"That's fantastic." Spending the next 30 minutes discussing between them, she tells him to eat and get ready for bed. Hugging him, she gets up. "I love you, Jay!" Yelling that out to him as she leaves the restaurant, "I love you too, Kirin." Getting up from his seat, he grabs something light for dinner and goes up the stairs that lead to his room.
Looking at the things in his room, he grabs some deodorant, takes off his clothes, goes into the shower, and goes to bed, hoping for a brighter future and a better day.
*Beep, beep* Waking up to an alarm and the bright sun. He goes to the bathroom to clean up.
Spending 15 minutes in the bathroom, he quickly puts on his clothes. And grabs his backpack.
Running down the steps, he sees that the restaurant is super busy in the morning.
Greeting some of the regulars, he gets to his other guardian. "Aye, Marcus, I see you later." Waving his hand at him, Jay finally leaves the restaurant.
Going to the school bus stop, he gets on the bus and sits at the front.
Sitting down beside him. A slightly athletic kid with a nice build for a high schooler starts to talk to him.
"Jay, can you help me with exorcism?"
Looking at the kid with an annoyed expression. "Why?"
"You're a state exorcist, not only that but a B-Rank one."
Ignoring what he's saying to him, he looks at the kid, and his face is saying *Cut to the chase*
"Alright, alright. There's a place I wanna go." Pulling up the location of the place on his map, he shows it to Jay.
"Only a high-ranking exorcist can get permits for this." Checking out the place he is showing, Jay notices it's a B+ Rank exorcism spot.
"Yeah, okay, I can get permitted for this. But we can only spot the place and see if it's actually B+, we can't exorcise it. It's too much of a risk. This usually requires a duo of B ranks or a group of highly trained C ranks."
Nodding his head. "Yeah, I only want to check out the place, Jay."
"Later today, send me the location so I can get permitted." Sending the location to Jay, Jay quickly submits it to the guild and gets accepted in a matter of minutes.
