A month later
Bright light of the sunshine entered the room through the white curtains, Cai Ruolan who was asleep in Xie Yuxuan’s arms opened her gray eyes and blinked.
She sat up and quickly arranged her tousled hair, wondering why she had slept so late and even Xie Yuxuan was not yet awake.
She tapped his shoulder, “Yuxuan, Yuxuan the sun is up already”
Xie Yuxuan opened one of his eyes and looked at her, he yawned while he turned towards the other side of the bed. “I still want to sleep, I’m tired from yesterday’s meeting, I need to replenish” he mumbled.
Cai Ruolan smiled and rolled her eyes. “We have somewhere to go and I can’t afford to be late”
“We?” he opened his eyes and sat on the bed. “We ain’t going anywhere.” He proclaimed.
“But I thought the school is complete already?” Cai Ruolan wasn’t happy, “And it’s going to be opened today, I wouldn’t want to miss it”
