The royal carriage came to a halt in front of an old delapidated house with a brown roof.
Xie Peizhi and Helan Qinshang climbed down the carriage, while she held his right hand and opened her fan.
The four armed guards followed them towards the building.
Even if the house looked quite old and ramshackled, Xie Peizhi loved and admired how it was neat and well kept.
There were a few trees in front of the house, a large blue colored bucket, and a bowl filled with clothes.
“Welcome to my home” Helan Qinshang spoke, as he quickly strolled towards the door to knock.
“Mother, are you in there?”
“Who is that?” they heard a voice, and footsteps from the backyard.
Helan Qinshang and Xie Peizhi turned to look at the direction where the voice was coming from.
And they both sighted a quite old looking woman, who was carrying lot’s of woods in her hands.
