It was early morning.
At a nearby cafe Haruki was having his morning coffee. Silently gazing at the people of elysium. On his side was a glaring Trish, a silent Jacob. Marco on the other hand was still probably asleep.
Rhistel... well she probably has a terrible hangover. It was a peaceful morning. Then all of a sudden, a large portal appeared on the town plaza. Droves of Adventurers came in. It garnered the attention of the townsfolk.
To them those faces were quite familiar. From the voices Haruki could hear. "Why'd you come back?" Said one Guard. The gruff looking adventurer responded with a friendly smile. "For the Expedition."
The moment he said this the atmosphere of the townsfolk soured. "I think it's better that you don't. No matter how strong you got outside... The Anomalies are no Joke." The townsfolk tried to dissuade the adventurers that came in troves.
