Haruki stared at the woman who just entered. She had amber hair tied into a braid flowing smoothly towards her sides till her waist. She had sharp eyes and an angular face with freckles on her nose and cheeks. She could be mistaken as a cute model. She wore red leather armor that accentuated her bodyline as the gigantic bow she has slung behind her in contrast to her stature.
"Damn, I didn't even notice her. She's pretty good." Haruki said as he looked at the people around him.
"You all have been displaced from both space and time." She said simply making everyone started muttering under their breaths. While some were rejoicing some were visibly frustrated. "What do you mean by that?" One of them asked, while the rest of the people stopped talking as they stared at the woman.
She then pointed towards the man who raised the question, "What do you last remember before you got here?" The man furrowed his brows and said, "I remember I was on my way home after an exhausting day at work. While I was crossing the street I saw a car careening towards me, then suddenly I'm here." He said as he furrowed his brows.
She then pointed towards a short haired woman wearing a black hoodie, "What about you?" The woman clutched her head, "I remember tripping over a cat and I fell over the stairs. The next thing I know was, I'm already here. Are we dead?" She muttered nervously. However the woman shook her head as she pointed towards another woman. "What about you?" The woman furrowed her brows, "I remember crossing an empty street yet before I could cross it I'm suddenly here..." She said as she recalled it.
"That's right. No. You are not dead. What you have experienced was a nexus singularity where you are removed from time and space itself. It was a point in reality where everything converges. Normally it would've sent you careening into some sort of far off reality, different from your own, or even the timeless void itself ripping you apart down to the very last atom. Look around you everyone here is a part of some culture and a different planet, and a different time period from you." She said as everyone checked each other out.
She closed her eyes and smiled as she pointed towards the Magic circle they were standing on. "That circle you're standing on served as an achor to send you here. Safe from the dangers from whatever place you were about to be sent into. Now any questions?" She said as a lot raised their hands whilst grumbling. "I have deadlines! Is there any way to go back home?" One man in a suit said with a loud voice.
"Sadly, At this moment in time. There's no known way to go back to your reality. Try as we may, no one has discovered how. The only solution we have created in thousands of years is to save the people from certain death." She said as she sighed as she looked at the ground. One young man then said, "Thousands of years?"
She nodded her head, "Yes, for thousands of years our ancestors have been trying really hard to solve this problem however no one was able to solve this problem. The only thing we could do is anchor people here on this planet. However worry not! We will train you guys enough to be able to stand on your own two feet. To be able to start a new life here."
After she said that various angry rants filled the entire area. "I'm sure you're all very angry. My ancestors probably felt the same. We will do everything to the best of our abilities to help you settle here." However her words only fueled the anger inside the people inside the temple. She sighed as she emitted unnatural bloodlust that covered the entire temple. Haruki couldn't help but whistle at the sheer pressure she was emitting.
The aura she exhuded was enough to silence everyone. She sighed, "Apologies everyone. However even I am a single mortal incapable of even getting out of this place myself." Each and almost everyone of them sighed and plopped down on the ground except the warrior looking fellows. Haruki on the other hand remained calm as he looked towards all sorts of people wearing different kinds of armors as his eyes gleamed with interest.
Magus's voice resounded on Haruki's head. Then he could feel a tap on his shoulders. He turned towards the kid who shouted in joy earlier. "Hm? What's up kid?" Haruki said as he stared at the average looking boy with glasses wearing some sort of uniform.
"Is that bow real?" He asked Haruki with shining eyes. Haruki nodded his head. "Nii-chan! I can tell from your demeanor that you are like me. Who already knows the rules of Isekai. I could feel a bond through your soul! You are one of the few people here that have remained calm throughout the explanation of that pretty Nee-chan." He said as he rambled on making Haruki twitch in surprise.
"Isekai? Is that japanese? I'm pretty sure that means otherworld right?" He said making the young boy nod his head in fervor. "Absolutely! See! You get me! As expected of my fellow Shujinkou!" Haruki's brows creased at his words, not understanding a single word he was spouting.
"Calm down kid, what the hell are you even talking about?" The young boy looked at him in complete shock, "Y-you mean you don't know? Isekai!" He said as he brought out his phone and showed Haruki some sort of animated show making him frown even deeper. "People make this?" He asked the boy.
"Yeah! It's extremely popular these days. I mean it's 2023 so it's getting more and more adaptations." He said as he nodded his head. Making Haruki furrow his brows, "You're from earth?" The young man tilted his head, "Ain't that obvious? I mean aren't you as well? You're wearing casual clothes... Why do you have a bow anyways?" As he was talking he suddenly gasped, "I knew it! You were only pretending! You're a cosplayer!"
Haruki shook his head and let the young man have his fun. 'Magus. This kid came from the past...' He said inside his head.
Then the woman infront clapped her hands once more, "If you all have anymore questions, please ask them now." She said as the young man raised his hands rather excitedly, "Are we summoned heroes?" He said withoud having any shred of embarassment, it was as if he was having the time of his life.
The woman tilted his head, "It seems some of you have entered a state of delirium. Fret not we have all sorts of medicine to help." She said however before she could continue Haruki raised his hand beside the stunned young boy who looked a little dismayed.
"Do you guys have beer?" He asked simply stunning the woman, "Are you sure that's what you want to ask? I mean we do but..." Haruki nodded his head and asked once more, "Do guys serve breakfast?" Haruki asked making the woman stagger on her feet. "Y-yeah..." Haruki nodded his head and stayed silent.
The woman coughed lightly to clear the air as she spoke, "If everyone has gathered their bearings please follow me." She said as she led the people towards the nearest town.
