Chapter 14 - A Chance Encounter

Hashi makes his way through the bustling village market, the heart of the village where vibrant sounds and enticing aromas fill the air. He walks along the colorful stalls that line the narrow streets, admiring the displays of fresh produce and handmade goods. The sweet scent of ripe melons and juicy peaches mingles with the earthy aroma of freshly harvested vegetables, creating an intoxicating blend.

As Hashi navigates through the crowd, he feels a sense of joy and familiarity. The market is alive with activity, and the sights and sounds overwhelm his senses. It's a place where he can forget his troubles and immerse himself in the happiness of the people around him.

However, today Hashi has a different purpose. He carries with him the repaired fridge, eager to find a potential customer. He walks further, observing the interactions between farmers and customers. Their weathered faces beam with satisfaction as they proudly display their bountiful produce, engaging in friendly conversations with eager buyers.

As Hashi continues his stroll, he overhears a man chatting with his companions about his plans to buy a fridge for his beloved wife. A spark of excitement ignites within Hashi. This could be the perfect opportunity to sell the fridge he has repaired.

Taking a deep breath to gather his courage, Hashi approaches the man with a polite smile. He taps the man gently on the shoulder and says, "Excuse me... mister!"

Mr. Yamamoto looks at Hashi with surprise and says, "Oh, Sato, long time no see!"

Hashi greets him with a smile, "Hello, Mr. Yamamoto. How have you been?"

Mr. Yamamoto replies, "Sato, did you need something from me?"

Hashi takes a moment and then says, "I heard that you want to buy a new fridge, Mr. Yamamoto."

Mr. Yamamoto's face lights up, "Ah, yes! My wife has been complaining about our old fridge. It hardly works anymore. I'm planning to buy a new one as a gift for our anniversary."

Hashi nods and says, "If you're looking for a new fridge, Mr. Yamamoto, I can help you."

Confusion crosses Mr. Yamamoto's face as he asks, "What do you mean, Sato?"

Hashi replies confidently, "Mr. Yamamoto, if you want a new fridge, I can sell one to you."

The shock and anger in Mr. Yamamoto's expression grows as he snaps, "Sato, I'm not in the mood for pranks."

Hashi reassures him, "Mr. Yamamoto, I assure you, I'm not joking. If you don't believe me, I can show you the fridge."

Mr. Yamamoto hesitates, then nods and says, "Alright, Sato. Let's go."

Hashi leads Mr. Yamamoto through the bustling market, searching for a suitable place to reveal the fridge.

As they walk, Hashi thinks to himself, "I need to find a quiet corner where I can pull the fridge out from my inventory and show him."

Finally, Hashi spots a secluded corner of the market and quickly guides Mr. Yamamoto towards it. He pulls the fridge out from his inventory, and as it materializes before Mr. Yamamoto reach him
