Runa's plan was to bring West Matzovia's soldiers to Lord Ernest's side–the more the better because it would diminish Castellan Stanislaus' power.
Seeing Lord Ernest like this, Yohana was reminded of what the Castellan did and said to her. Was she meant to be wedded to this son or the other son? Yohana remembered that Castellan Stanislaus had two sons.
That thought easily disappeared as there were a lot more things to take care of. Help was here, and whoever sent it, Yohana had to take it gracefully because the injured people needed it. Sir Bernhard was more than happy to receive it.
Runa and Lord Ernest helped to manage the incoming and outgoing people. They would check the patients, and those whose injuries had healed were told to leave the shelter to make room for incoming patients. Although Yohana didn't want to, she had to admit that the presence of Runa and Lord Ernest was helpful.
