"Your Highness, we have captured those who we believed to be prominent in initiating and expanding the riots," Mr. Hermann announced. "They are currently kept in the royal prison. Would you like to see them?"
"Yes." Henrie rose from his seat and headed to the prison, where rows of men were sitting behind bars.
They were all tattered. Some of them had minor injuries, and some others had blood splattered on their clothes, uncertain whose blood was it.
He banged on the bars, surprising the captives, who were sleeping. "State your names, and do not try to lie because we already know. We're just testing your truth and see if you're worth keeping alive or not."
Henrie's approach to interrogation was always with aggression. He was impatient in wars and politics, so he refused to waste his time to coax them. When in fear, humans tend to spill more than they could bear. But right now, Henrie skipped the long torture and used intimidation instead.
