Yohana had only arrived at her chamber when someone rushed to find her. "My Lady, His Highness the Crown Prince is here to see you," a servant announced.
Yohana intended to look through her proposals for the joint coffee house business once she was home. Fabian had marked some places that needed fixing. Some points sounded too figurative, and other points needed data to ensure credibility.
I guess that would have to wait, Yohana thought.
She looked in the mirror and brushed the strands of her hair that stuck out. She opened her drawer and put on some makeup, but ended up looking like a ghost. The lipstick was too intense, so she washed her face with fresh water.
How long had passed since Yohana learned about Henrie's arrival? Would he get mad if he waited any longer than he already had? But Yohana couldn't see him in this state. Did she look okay? She needed to appear presentable.
