Two days ago, Yohana had left the manor. Fabian himself sent her into the carriage with their aunt. She embarked on the quest to find the body that Niels was in, while Niels' original body containing the dead soul would be buried by Adelwin.
When Laurens informed Fabian that someone claiming to be Yohana came to the manor, he was confused. Yohana looked eager to find Niels, so why would she return so early to the manor?
Moreover, Yohana had left with Aunt Jana, so why would she return alone? If she had come with Aunt Jana, she wouldn't have had to face the guards.
The answer came sooner as Laurens corrected Fabian's misunderstanding. "She is the person you captured in the guest room, Your Grace. The one bearing the same silver hair as Lady Runa."
