Fabian extended an invitation for Runa to join him for dinner, but she adamantly refused to leave the chamber. The servants brought her dinner to the guest room while Fabian dined in his own chamber.
Upon his return to the guest room, Fabian noticed that Runa had barely touched her plate. Concerned, he brought the plate to her and said, "You must eat something. It's been a tiring day, don't you want to rest for a bit?"
Runa shook her head, her gaze fixed on Niels. Despite Fabian's numerous attempts to convince her to eat, each one was met with rejection.
"I can't get anything in my stomach now. I'll just puke them later on anyway," she stated.
Determined to support her and worried that she would faint if this continued, Fabian ordered his servants to bring her small bread and soup instead, hoping they would be easier to swallow and gentle on her stomach.
