Queen Emma barged into King Georg's chamber and voiced her concerns, saying, "My King, why are you allowing our son to go to the battlefield for a mere woman? She is not worthy of such a grand gesture."
King Georg, who was already weary from the day, sighed deeply. "I have tried to stop him. But you know how he is. That boy inherits your stubbornness. Do you think I can handle that?"
The queen, feeling defensive about her own traits being blamed, pouted and retorted, "Did I make him on my own? You are his father. Why are you removing yourself from the responsibility? You are not easy to handle either."
Neither of them wanted to shoulder the blame for their children's negative characteristics, and so they often resorted to blaming each other.
King Georg, who had never won an argument with Queen Emma, chose the path of silence to avoid further conflict.
