Recognizing the implications of what Theodor had glimpsed, Yohana swiftly intervened. She stood up and halted him from revealing any more.
"Henrie, Elias, if you'll excuse me for a moment. May I have a private word with Theodor?"
Though bewildered, Henrie consented, allowing Yohana and Theodor to step outside for their conversation.
Yohana ensured that the servants and knights remained at a distance, far enough to be oblivious to their conversation.
She squinted at Theodor, her tone demanding answers. "What do you know about me?"
Theodor trembled and avoided her gaze, nervously fiddling with the fabric of his sleeve. "Nothing, truly."
"Don't lie! You know something. I can sense it," Yohana pressed, her determination unyielding.
