Chapter 4 - Chapter 02

"Dear Cousin I know it is a surprise that I am writing you this letter, but it is something very urgent please contact me when you can"

Att: Regulus Arcturus Black

- "Good morning Kreacher I didn't sleep very well last night. Can you make me a hot chocolate please?" - Adhara spoke, rubbing her eyes tiredly.

- "Of course, mistress." - The elf assured her kindly.

- "Bad night?" - Asked the wizard, appearing with a cup of coffee.

- "Don't bother Dad." - She answered, drawing laughter from the already named.

- "Well, I have news for you." - Announced, looking nonchalant.

- "Will you let me use the bow and arrow?" - Asked the girl in the same way.

- "No, Adhara, leave that topic." - He answered, tired by his daughter's insistence. - "Get ready today we'll go out" - He said distractedly to see the girl's reaction.

- "In a moment." - She spoke, but after a moment she understood what he had said and reacted. - "Where!? No wait! Don't tell me I want to be surprised." - And with that, she ran to her room.

Regulus just shook his head in amusement.

25 minutes later.

- "I'm ready!"

Once downstairs her father observed her wearing black pants a red shirt with a black jacket, her hair was tied up in a high tail and as usual, she wore earrings and black boots.

- "Okay, let's go." - He mumbled, looking at her approvingly.

She took Regulus's hand and they Apparated in an alley.

- "Where we are?" - She asked recovering from the apparition because she never liked that means of transport.

- "You'll know soon enough." - He answered and then took out his wand and moved bricks from the wall, once they were open Regulus spoke. - "Welcome to Diagon Alley, Red!"

Adhara thought she was dreaming it was all good it was really impressive, she thought there were no words to describe what she saw.

Once she got out of shock, she spoke. - "What are we doing here, Dad?"

- "We will buy your wand and do a blood test." - Responded to receive a settlement from the girl. - "Remember the rules, Adhara." - He spoke seriously and began walking.

Adhara just sighed and put on the most serious and cold face she could because, for the wizarding world, Harry Potter's sister was dead.

Very few knew the truth of this subject since Regulus after stealing the Horcrux managed to escape and since nobody had proof that he was a Death Eater the ministry released him after what happened with the Potters he went with his brother however he did not go after Peter if not that he stayed with a redheaded baby that he later passed off as his daughter and that of a deceased pureblood woman, the only one who knew the truth was himself and Albus Dumbledore. According to her father, Dumbledore was the only one who knew that the Potters had another daughter, and for obvious reasons, he realized that it was her.

She knew her father did it to protect her and to keep the Black blood.

Regulus and Adhara began to walk through the alley with the typical ice mask of all pure blood, receiving looks and murmurs of all kinds.

- "It's Regulus Black!"

- "That's his daughter, Adhara Black!"

- "His father is a Death Eater..."

- "Poor girl"

- "They're just blood purists"

- "Oh hell, they have nothing else to do." - Adhara spoke once they were in a more isolated place.

Regulus didn't say anything to her as he thought, just as she did, wizards were insufferable when it came to high society.

- "What vulgar words for a little girl, Miss Black." - Said a voice behind her back with amusement.

Adhara and Regulus turned at the same time, the second indifferently and the first with astonishment and coldness.

- "You wouldn't understand, sir." - Adhara said, looking directly into the eyes of that man.

- "On the contrary, Miss Black, I perfectly understand what you mean, people are usually very annoying when it comes to us pure blood." - He answered, looking into her eyes.

- "Are you pure blood, sir?" - She said looking at him defiantly, her words seemed to have a great result in the man who looked at her offended.

- "Of course I am, little girl." - He hissed coldly.

Both continued in their fight of looks until Regulus decided to intervene. - "That's enough, Adhara." - Regulus spoke, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder in a protective way.

- "Regulus Black is a pleasure to meet you in person" - The stranger spoke now with his eyes on Regulus who only nodded and then spoke.

- "With whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?"

Adhara couldn't help but look at the man, studying his appearance.

The man was tall he had silky dark hair he was a bit pale he wore a black suit and a snake ring on one of his fingers, she couldn't help but think he was very handsome and surely Slytherin.

- "I am Professor Tom Riddle, Hogwarts vice-headmaster and defense against the dark arts professor" - The man answered.

Regulus nodded, and the man offered him a hand, which Regulus took firmly.

- "It's a pleasure to meet you, Professor." - Adhara finally spoke, remarking the last word with mockery.

- "Same." - He answered indifferently.

- "So, Riddle, what is it like to be a professor at Hogwarts?" - Regulus spoke to try to remove the tension of the moment.

- "Teaching, paperwork, sending letters to kids about Hogwarts, stuff like that." - Riddle said curtly, he seemed quite annoyed by the question, or maybe it was the answer Adhara gave him.

- "Do you like to teach, professor?" - Adhara spoke again with amusement in her voice.

- "I like teaching." - Riddle answered without further explanation, looking directly into the girl's green eyes.

- "Well, it was a pleasure, Professor Riddle, but my daughter and I have important things to do." - Regulus spoke, saying goodbye to the other wizard.

- "Well, goodbye it was a pleasure Lord Black, Black Heiress." - He also said goodbye, receiving a nod from both Blacks.

Adhara and Regulus continued to walk in silence towards the bench of wizards, ignoring the looks and whispers that everyone threw as they passed, she looked at her father who kept his ice mask on but seemed quite thoughtful.

Adhara thought it might be Professor Riddle, who seemed to have a dark, dangerous aura she guessed her father sensed as well.

- "Don't trust that man too much, Adhara." - Regulus finally spoke, breaking the silence.

- "Don't worry, father, you know I won't trust a man I just met..."

- "You also noticed his aura, right, daughter?" - Asked Regulus, looking at her curiously.

- "I did." - She confirmed.

- "That's not good..."

- "Why?" - She asked without understanding.

- "I haven't felt that kind of aura in years... so dark" - Regulus seemed quite worried. - "Not since the fall of the dark lord..." - Adhara stopped in her tracks looking at her father trying to understand what he meant. - "Forget what I said, Adhara, just stay away." - He spoke, ending the topic.

Adhara just nodded knowing that she would investigate later and Regulus knew deep down that she wouldn't forget, after all she was a Potter and that meant trouble, he just hoped she didn't get hurt in all of that.

Once at Gringotts Adhara and Regulus took on a respectful but haughty air of pureblood heiress.

- "Welcome to Gringotts, Lord Black and Black heiress, I am Ragnuk." - Said a goblin.

Adhara nodded and made a respectful bow that Regulus observed with pride.

- "Happy meeting, Ragnuk." - Adhara and Regulus spoke at the same time.

- "Happy meeting, how can I help you?" - Ragnuk asked less cold.

Adhara looked at Regulus, who respectfully addressed the goblin. - "I need a blood test for my daughter, the most expensive that each house lists, please make sure that I receive the results first." - Regulus concluded.

- "Very well over here." - Ragnuk led them to a room where there was a table with a knife, a scroll, and a jar.

Adhara could only stare at the knife on the table and swallow hard at how sharp it was. - "Father, is this necessary?" - Asked Adhara, a little insecure.

- "It is Red, don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you" - Regulus spoke to reassure her.

- "Very well, Miss Black, sit down and cut the wrist of your dominant arm, deposit the blood in the vial, and I'll take care of the rest." - The goblin assured.

Adhara took the knife, inhaled deeply, and cut her right wrist, letting the blood fall straight into the vial.

Griphook placed a piece of parchment down and drowned the blood on it before pulling it out. Griphook frowned and motioned for Regulus to come closer. Regulus paled noticeably and looked at Adhara, who seemed curious.

She stared, undeterred by the goblin's intense gaze.

- "Well, this is surprising." - Regulus said.

- "Lord Black... it's not as bad as you think." - Griphook said, uneasy.

Regulus snorted and read the scroll again.

- "Can I read it?" - Adhara asked, restless.

- "Okay, you can look." - Regulus said, handing her the parchment.

Adhara took the scroll and her jaw dropped when she saw what it said.

Adhara fell silent, trying to process what she read.

- "This must be kept secret, no one can find out that she is a Potter." - Regulus spoke, addressing the goblin.

- "Don't worry, Lord Black, anyone will know." - The goblin assures, and so they both say goodbye and leave the bank.

- "Now where?" - Adhara asked.

- "We'll go to Ollivander's, we'll buy your wand."

- "Well, what are we waiting for then?" - She asked, excited.

- "Hello Miss Potter, I was wondering when you would come." - Ollivander spoke.

- "Black, her name is Adhara Black." - Regulus spoke, addressing the old man curtly.

- "Ohhh, I see... Lord Black I remember selling your wand not long ago ebony, dragon scales, 12½ inches good for dueling." - Ollivander said.

Regulus just nodded.

Ollivander stood up and looked around before taking down a box and opening it.

- "Ash, 10 inches, unicorn hair." - Said the old man.

Adhara took it, but instantly the glasses exploded.

Ollivander quickly took the wand and shook his head.

- "I am sorry." - Adhara said, laughing nervously.

- "It doesn't matter, let's see..."

And with that, Ollivander went through testing all the wands for an hour. Regulus sighed, leaning against the wall with a book of magical creatures in hand. Ollivander stopped in his tracks for a moment and disappeared from sight. Adhara turned to her father with a look of confusion, which he returned.

- "I see... Adhara I think I have the perfect wand for you little Black 10 thumb, phoenix feather and basilisk core" - Ollivander said giving her the wand.

Adhara took it suspiciously and suddenly the wand illuminated the room with a red flash, Adhara's eyes lit up like flames of fire and her red hair began to shine. After a few minutes everything returned to normal under the gaze of disbelief of the 3 present.

- "Curious..." - Ollivander murmured.

Adhara and Regulus turned to look at the wandmaker.

- "What is curious?" - They asked at the same time.

- "The core of your wand is a phoenix feather that phoenix gave only one more feather it is curious that it is that person who has that other wand, if both are together they will join as if they were one you will do well to turn the wands against each other another unless you want them to destroy or join each other." - The wizard spoke with a lost look.

- "Anything else, Mr. Ollivander?" - Asked Regulus, still surprised.

- "Yes, if something threatens the other wand, the wand that is not being threatened will attack on its own" - Ollivander explained.

Adhara nodded a little dazedly.

- "How much is it?" - Asked the older.

- "That's nine galleons." - Ollivander answered.

Regulus paid and took Adhara to leave the store, but not before saying goodbye.

- "Great things await you, Miss Potter - Black, let's just hope the world is ready for it, or it won't be good." - Ollivander spoke for no one in particular.

Adhara and Regulus apparated into the Black house and walked towards the main hall, however, a female voice made them both stop in their tracks.

- "It was time for you to appear..." - ¿? Spoke
