Siddharth is waiting outside station for taxi and soon a taxi arrived. Siddharth sat inside it and tells the destination to driver where he want to go.
Soon after half an hour he reached a colony. He pays bill and then he told guard to open the door.
"I am not allowed to go strangers inside" The guard refused to open door.
"I am here to meet the family of Subedar Udit, I have a parcel and a letter for them." Siddharth said but still the guard refused.
Siddharth asked many times but guard refused but when request didn't work, Siddharth just slapped that guard and told him to open door.
"How dare you to slap me, You are a soldier but you can't use violence on anyone." That guard rudely said and started making noise. Siddharth got irritated and he lifts his left eyebrow.
The colony members came out from their houses and the crowd increased so much. The guard is drunk so he started cursing Siddharth and he said something like that made Siddharth hit that guard but suddenly a girl slapped him.
"Don't you have manners to talk to someone, It is your second time in last three days. This time I'll personally make sure you lose your job. You just know drinking and nothing." That girl also lives in that colony and her father secretary of that colony.
The guard down his head and moves back. Then the crowd disappointed slowly slowly. Siddharth asked "Mam can you tell me where the parents of Subedar Udit lives?"
"He is so handsome, just the heroes in movies and cinemas no, he is more handsome than those actors." She thinks in her mind and then she control herself and brings him to that house by lift.
"Actually he is my brother, he joined army four years ago. And let me Introduce myself, I am Sanaya, his younger sister." She said to introduce herself to him. Siddharth is feeling slightly awkward in list he relaxed after sometime when lift stops and they came out.
"Follow me" She said then she started walking ahead of Siddharth and Siddharth followed her.
They reached a door and then she pressed the door bell and then a woman opened door.
"Sanaya you forgot your purse here." Her mom said but after seeing Siddharth she invited him inside and told him to sat on sofa.
"Are you Udit's friend or junior soldier" That woman asked after giving water to Siddharth.
Siddharth drinks water and then he said "Well I am his senior officer Lieutenant Siddharth. But I am no more a lieutenant. I am off duty for next six months."
"So sir you are on long leave?" Sanaya asked in nervousness after knowing that he is his brother's senior officer.
Siddharth nodded and said "I am on temporarily suspended for six months and after six months I'll join army again."
"Dinner is ready, come on sit on dinning I'll serve" The woman said and then they all came to dinning table. Sanaya is serving food to Siddharth and because of her Siddharth is feeling quite nervous and awkward.
After eating Siddharth opened his bag of letts and took out a letter and a box and gave it to that woman.
"What is this?" that woman asked and then Siddharth nodded like I don't know.
"Hey do you have laptop or computer?" Siddharth asked to share the photographs of Udit and his team.
Sanaya brings her laptop and gave it to Siddharth and the wallpaper of that laptop is a soldier and it is actually Siddharth and it made Siddharth more nervous. He ignored it and then he started transferring files to her laptop.
After it, he return laptop to her and then he got up and said "Okay Aunty, My work finished to I allow me to leave".
"Why not you stop tonight here. His dad will return at evening from work so you can meet him" She said and Siddharth can refuse directly so he made up some excuses but it didn't work so he agreed to stay one night here.
At evening he talked formally with Sanaya's father. They had a great chat and after it Siddharth goes to his room.
He saw some photos hanging on wall in which Sanaya have many gold medals there is collection of her every image of reward ceremony since her class 1. She is good in sports and she is a professional female cricketer at state level.
Siddharth is looking at carefully and suddenly he hears a sweet plus rough voice from behind "Why were you ignoring me?" He turns behind and Sanaya is standing with her bat in hands like she I gonna beat the shit out of Siddharth.
She is looking furious so Siddharth moves back and he got nervous. In his nervous voice he said "Why are you here? I mean why are you here at this time. Uncle and aunty will misunderstood us" .
Sanaya came near him in anger and then she put him with wall and goes closer. Siddharth her face but she again turn Siddharth's face towards her.
"We are lovers for five years, then one day you suddenly disappeared like you never existed before. Finally after more than seven years you came here again. Why?" She is quite angry and Siddharth is quite nervous.
"Sanaya, just forget it. Our ways are different now. Why you want to waste your time by realising old talks." Siddharth said while stealing sight from Sanaya.
"I went in depression for next one year and I left my dream and I missed the chance to play for my nation in international matches. What was my fault and why you left me? Is it because I did flirt with you sometimes." Sanaya said with combine feeling of sadness and anger.
"It is not the problem, I ran away from home because of a conflict with my family. It's not your fault but you are now settled and a professional player." Siddharth said to change topic but Sanaya just hugged him.
"Stupid, idiot, rascal, innocent fool, I missed you a lot. Just don't leave me again." She is sad but Siddharth seperated himself and made distance in nervousness.
"Sanaya, listen our way is different. We are both just too young that time. Just forget me and you will find someone better than me." Siddharth said but this time Sanaya Slapped him.
"Answer my question you bloody stupid guy, Who's fault was that. You, you are the one who left me alone when I need you most. I got thousand of proposals but I refused them all just because I know you will return and you came back today. And now I can't even hug you?" She is quite sad and angry. She just continued slapping Siddharth and Siddharth didn't defend himself.
After slapping and hitting Siddharth for half an hour she left room while crying. Siddharth is still alright because her hit is not strong enough to hurt him.
After sometime when he left, Sanaya's dad came in room.
"Siddharth, I am sorry for her behaviour. she just need time to mentally prepare herself." Her dad said but Siddharth didn't say anything because he is also quite angry. He just straightened his shirt and carry his bags.
He ignored Sanaya's father and left house. He came out from building and after coming at main door of colony he look at the window of Sanaya's house but then he turn behind and left.
Sanaya is watching him from window and she wipes her tears and look at Siddharth's photo in which she and Siddharth are together and she is pulling Siddharth's cheeks that she protected since seven years.
