Chapter 3 - 3

Tsuki remembered her. - Yes. - He said, when answering. – How long has it been, more than twenty years. - He said.

Glad it was your teacher who sent it first, but I haven't heard from her in a long time.

- How's Uncle Williams? – Tsuki Miki asked…

- He's fine, but can I ask you a favor? - She questioned him.

- He can. - He said.

- There have been some disappearances, but we're too old to be able to go investigate, the dogs are running out of exercise, can you keep them? - She questioned him.

- Ha..., wouldn't they be sad? – He questioned her.

- Son, I'm over 80 years old, we can no longer take care of the dogs. - She said. – Williams is 92 years old. - She said.

It wasn't a strange occurrence, life in a small town, they were the only ones who could help in the inner city on the borders between the mountains that cut between the reservations and the highway.

- All right, I'm going to travel, wait for me, I'll arrive at night. - He said.

- That's good dear, we'll leave here waiting for you some books and some gifts that are ours, we can't continue with the missions anymore. - She said.

- I wanted you to stay with me. - She said.

- What about your son, Ney? - She questioned her.

- The boy doesn't want to continue with the legacy, nor did he come back after the last mission. - She said. – He doesn't want to continue with the work, nor does he need to, he went to live his life as a lawyer. - She said.

- Well, not all children follow the same life as their parents. Tsuki said.

It had been many years since he had passed through those mountains of the reserves, between the borders of Canada, it was a huge pine forest, between forest preservation reserves where wolves, bears and foxes lived.

So, when he finished his workday, not having any commitments, he told his secretary that he would be away for a few days.

So, he went to see his godfather, Amasteus in his office.

- Something happened? – Amasteus questioned him.

- A former teacher and a teacher from the mountains bordering Canada are retiring for good. - He said. "Miss Emily and Williams. Tsuki said.

- Something wrong with them? Amasteus asked.

- He did not say anything. Tsuki said. – But they said they got too old; they need to retire. Tsuki said.

- Good for them. - Amasteus said. – Do they need anything? Amasteus looked up from his documents and his computer.

- Yes, that I visit them and take some documents with me, they are too old to have them, in addition, they asked me to take the dogs with me. Tsuki said. – Too old to look after. Tsuki said.

- Our. - Amasteus said. "They didn't want any rejuvenation potions?" Amasteus asked, stopping typing.

- They didn't say anything, godfather. Tsuki said.

- This is strange, son, if you need something, call the association's reinforcement. - Amasteus said.

- I expect your contact when everything is fine, but no signal arrives there. - Amasteus said.

He went to his drawer, took out an oval green stone the size of his mother, handing it to Tsuki.

- It's a transport stone, if something happens, if you need to transport the objects they have there, if it's too much, then bring it to the Eternal Tower headquarters. - Amasteus said. – Find out what happened. - Amasteus said.

- All right, if there's anything to bring, I'll activate the stone. Tsuki said.

- When you activate, I will be on site. - Amasteus said. "It will open a portal wherever I am. - Amasteus said.

- Catch a ride on the plane that will pick you up at the airport. - Amasteus said.

- I'm going to the mansion to get a backpack and my objects and clothes. Tsuki said.

- Good luck and see you later. – Amasteus said, returning to his work, while Tsuki left the room.

He would ask for a plane to get to the city, anything he needed, he would ask for a rental car or anything that could transport the dogs and take the objects that his teacher needed, but right now, he had a rock magical, that request was strange.

It was then that he returned to the mansion, packed his belongings, some clothes and hygiene items, his wallet, a little money, then he went to get his mobile phone, he called for the pilot to wait for him at the private airport.

That's where he got on the plane, waiting, which left him on the border between the mountains, it was remote and isolated, between a city between forests, reserves, and mountains.

When getting off a plane, he walked with a backpack along the trails, between seeing a village of several strange people from afar.

One of his teachers was already a lady when he met her, when he traveled to the city where she lived, both his son, the woman and her husband were treated like heroes, they were the only detectives and they hunted the criminals, who they went into the forests to track them.

They were former CIA and FBI agents, as well as retired heroes of the association, which he now helps fund.

So, he was surprised when he got there, the city in the mountains was no longer the same, poor, with a place that seemed to have ashes falling from the skies.

Her husband was a hunter, he tracked down fugitives, and in his spare time, taking buses to transport both ordinary passengers and tourists and transport through the forests, at least that was more than 20 years ago.

Now he found himself in a different city than the one he had long remembered when he first visited them.

She was a rescue dog trainer, during normal times he was one of the best firefighters, when he retired from being a long-retired FBI agent...

He looked for a restaurant, he was a stranger, everything had changed a lot, it had become decadent and poor, in a space of little more than 20 years, it was a remote village, but it shouldn't be little more than 3 hours away for the rest of Canada's main city.

Since the city was far from the center, lying between the mountains, the very way they could be saved in case something happened would not help and would not even arrive in time.

The inhabitants of that town thought he was the Antichrist or some criminal, as they looked suspiciously at Tsuki when he started asking how the town was doing since he hadn't been there in over twenty years.7

- So, what brings you to this end of the world? - The owner of the bar said, in his dirty appearance, when the place fell a thick fog, among the scattered inhabitants with children playing in the street.

- My teacher, Emily Vance, and Williams.
