Next morning the a servant came in with breakfast and also informed me of the letter being made. I ordered him to someone to deliver the letter and started eating my breakfast.
"their cooking is pretty average."
I looked at the food and sighted. Although this was edible, it wasn't really good. The meat was rough. The seasonings were uneven.
"I should catch and turn a chef into my servant."
After eating breakfast I called someone to bring the demon girl over. She was the girl who was supposed to be in the hero's harem. But I have other plans for her. Since she's supposed to go to the hero's party she will become very strong in the future.
And you know what that means. Instead of f**king the hero I will send her to an epic journey. It should be a very good investment.
After that I would wait for the hero to come and rescue me from the bandits. I will go to the capital with the identity of a village girl who was captured by bandits. Then I will infiltrate the royal castle.

She raised her little head with a frightened eyes and looked at me.
"Umm…um… please don't hurt Lily. She is a very kind girl." She said with a lot of difficulty and shaking.
I frowned hearing this. I know her back story so I know who this Lily girl is.
Normally when humans attack demon villages they normally sell the civilian demons as slaves. One of these slave was this demon girl. She was sold to the humans at a age of 5. Though the ones that bought them were the Ransburg family. This family wasn't really the cruel type. The young miss of the Ransburg family was Lily. She was the flowery type girl.
You know the type that says, "everyone should be happy."
And then gets friend zoned by her childhood friends. Yeah that type of character.
Normally what would happen is Lily, the girl that got kidnapped by the bandits along with her nanny and demon slave, dies during the battle between the hero and the bandits. Since the only reason for this demon girl to willingly be with the Ransburg is Lily, she joins the hero's party to become strong.
And that's how her story goes. Well, at least when no op black haired girl decides not to interfere that is.
I looked at the girl in front of me and said in a stern tone,
"get up."
She nodded and slowly got up, still shacking with fear.
"do you want to be strong?" I asked. Since I know what she wants. She has been with humans for the past 5 years so she must have faced some discrimination here and there.
After all we humans are born racist. We are pretty good at discriminating.
The little girl looked at me with shocked and confused eyes.
Seeing her shocked eyes I couldn't help but chuckle. I then activated my demon form. Black smoke started coming out of my body.
The girl who was very confused at first looked at me with constricted eyes when she understood what the black smoke was.
"You…you are a demon!"
She said while stuttering.
Remember guys, I didn't say I'm a demon. She just figured it out herself.
Looking at her she was still shaking.
"Do you want to be powerful?"
I said while drinking my morning tea.
"what?" she got confused by my words.
"Don't you want to protect that girl?" I said while taking a another sip.
It wasn't said in the novel, but when I saw her pleading for the girl named Lily, I immediately understood that there are more than what meets the eyes. She has this mad desire to protect that girl. If I play my cards right I would be able to use that Lily girl to control this demon girl.
"I would help you achieve great power." I said.
The girl looked at me with suspicion and fear.
"why, would you do that?" she asked.
"Simple, I see potential in you."
The girl was looking at me with suspicion. Well, I can't really blame her. Would you trust someone that say they would give you power for free?
Those who say yes are definitely not that bright of a human being. So I decided to give her a reason to trust me.
"You see, I am scouting out good talented people to build my army. And I think you are a good addition to that."
The girl was still looking at me with suspicion but it was lessened by a little.
"you don't have to trust me if you don't want to."
The demon girl still reluctant nodded her little head.
"okay, I will trust you."
Hearing this I smiled.
"Then you will be training under me. My men will take care of you." I said and proceeded to send her away.
"huh, but what about miss Lily!"
"Don't you realize you cannot be her as a demon."
I said. I know she is reluctant to leave this Lily girl but she, as a demon should understand that she can't be in the human realm like this.
" But…"
"Don't worry I will arrange things for you to be with her."
In the novel there were many kind of artifacts mentioned. One of the artifact was the mask of many faces. It's an artifact that can help one change ones appearance. Its not that hard to acquire. You just need a little bit of money for it. Originally it would be acquired by the hero in the future. He would then give it to this demon girl. But if I can acquire it and give it to the demon girl first then it would satisfy her desire to stay bedside Lilly. Which in return would make her trust me.
"But…"
"No buts. If you want to work for me you have to listen to me. Trust me I can help you stay with her in the future."
I said sternly. The demon girl nodded timidly.
"okay, you can go now. Don't tell anyone about me. You understand? You should also prepare to leave them for a while."
"Yes" the girl nodded timidly.
After sending her back I called some of the servants and told them to bring me a hair dye. My Japanese black hair wasn't really common in this fantasy world. After dying it a greyish white I spent some time to dry it off. The hero would take at least a month to arrive, so I started planning my routes. The day went without a hitch.
It was at evening that something happened. In the evening one of my servants came with a news that left me confused.
"the hero has already come to the nearest town!" I exclaimed.
It was too early. Why is he already here?
"it seems he used the churches teleportation circle."
"huh? Wait why would he use the teleportation circle?"
This is a real problem. I don't know why the hero come here. In the novel the reason why he comes to this town is that he received a letter from the Ransburg family. But Ransburg family doesn't own any teleportation circle. Nor can they use the one in the church.
They have to manually send a letter to the capital. From where the hero will use the teleportation circle to this town.
So why is he here so quickly. It looks like there's no to waste. According to the servant he will depart from the town in the morning tomorrow. So he should reach this camp in the afternoon. Meaning they should attack in the night.
I quickly gave out the orders. 15 of my servants will take the demon girl and retreat into the forest. While the rest will stay here and fight the gero to death.
I will act as a victim who was kidnapped by the bandits. With all set and done I went to sleep. I have to change all of my plans according to the changes that appeared. Tomorrow will be a busy day.
