I could see why Vicki's ratings were shooting up so drastically lately. With someone like Julian Black around it was impossible for her not to have her career shine bright. I was here originally to interview the new CEO of Black technology Miranda Lawson but it was nearly impossible as her eccentric assistant blocked me at every turn. The only reason I knew that there was a newly appointed CEO was threw my connections at Lex Corp as she was seen negotiating on behalf of Black technology with Lex Luthor.
What was even more interesting about her was that she seemed to come out of nowhere as no one I spoke with could find anything about her. Under her leadership Black Technology was taking a more aggressive approach in the business industry. Another new face appears to be a purple mutant woman acting as a spokeswoman scientist for the company often seen accompanying Miranda Lawson explaining current research within the company to investors. It's hard to speculate on who she could be as it's quite possible that her mutation occurred after she graduated from a college. What is also important to note is that this purple skinned woman has increasingly become a hot topic in the mutant community even though she has yet to do any official interviews.
It is also worth noting that she is extremely powerful Force wielder according to the Daily Planet's resident "Force expert". The so called Force experts are another booming industry in literally every field. Our particular Force expert specialized in having the gift of precognition of future events. What this really means is that she gets paid to sit around and if she has a vision that is news worthy to report it or if it guides her to any particular stories. She isn't 100% accurate and she can't control her visions as they happen sporadically without any pattern but it is enough that we can't ignore it. She isn't even the most gifted otherwise the government would have likely scooped her up. I was somewhat disappointed that I wasn't capable of wielding the Force I could sense it to a degree but that was my limit.
Now back to Julian Black it's like every time he stepped out the door the whole world shook. Since he appeared on scene story after story have been written about him. From his time with the Avengers to his dating of multiple women even the growth of his company along with it's breakthroughs people couldn't get enough of him. Simply put the man was a force multiplier. Whatever he seemed involved in became a hot topic easily catching the attention of the world. There were many individuals who had powers and talents but they seemed to be lacking somehow when it came to public attention.
Knowing that the man is a womanizer I wasn't afraid to use my feminine wiles to get his attention. That didn't mean that he would actually get anything from me. Usually all I had to do was flirt a little and the men would be quick to brag to impress me. This was all I needed to get a story from men like Julian Black I might even let him take me on a date or two because he was handsome enough and he might have more stories for me to milk out of him. If things go well I might even get to interview his wife who is rumored to be on par with Reed Richard in scientific ability.

I could see Lois Lane running up to me along with about a dozen other reporters. I also noticed my slut eager for her treat hoping to follow our prior arrangement. Vicki seemed a bit nervous as she glanced at her long time rival before meeting my eyes clearly signaling me. I almost wanted to break my deal with her just to see the look on her face but I decided against it.
Lois Lane was a very egotistical woman she was incredibly gorgeous and weaponized it to get turn men into simps like Supersimp... *cough* I mean Superman. Honestly I don't blame her it was a smart decision on her part to use her natural gifts to get ahead. Anyone saying otherwise saying she should only let her work speak for itself is an idiot. There is no such thing as a level playing field in life not using every advantage is akin to self harm. As I stated before Lois Lane had a massive ego giving into her charms would only serve to have her think less of me so...
"Miss Vale it's good to see my favorite reporter is here on the scene"
