Chapter 77 - 75

To say that a few members of the Justice League were pissed was an understatement. Some were well beyond pissed that the reason for their execution was the murder of a man who now stood before them alive and well. Hawkgirl was definitely the most enraged by this outcome and understandably so. Her paramour was now dead having sacrificed himself for the cause only for his death to be in vain. Superman himself was also filled with rage about the result but didn't blame Julian as he was the victim of their crimes.

...

Looking around I see that the bodies of Green Arrow and Hawkman laying at the feet of the Avengers. It was clear that they were killed execution style what bothered me was that I knew that Hawkman doesn't stay dead he reincarnates. I probably wouldn't see him for a few decades but he would return in time. I would need to consolidate my foundation in this universe before his inevitable return. Judging by how fresh the corpses appeared I decided to use this to my advantage.

"So that must have been the price of my return I would have thought that I was gone for good... I felt soul fade to nothing... then I was suddenly back"

Thoth: Intriguing most mortal souls aren't truly aware until they find themselves in their respective afterlife. What did you feel in those moments before you faded away?

"I felt anger, frustration, and fear but I didn't regret my decision that led me to my conclusion because I know that it was right. I was ready to face the consequences no matter what it was"

I answered his question immediately making seem instinctive like I was still out of it somewhat. I wasn't certain of who he is as don't remember him from as a hero from either DC or Marvel. The simple fact that no interfered with his initial questioning was likely because that everyone else was also curious.

"Who are you? I don't recognize you as a notable hero, villain or whatever notable individual I was taught about of this dimension"

Thoth: I am Thoth Egyptian god of knowledge

Well shit I didn't expect that a god other than Thor to be here. Judging by the gorgeous blind woman wearing a ancient Greek style dress I suppose that she is also a god. Looking at all the evidence it would appear that this has become a bigger problem than I imagined. I doubt that my death alone would warrant such a gathering so something big must have occurred involving the terraforming must have happened. Looking around I finally found what I'm dreading... a watcher. These voyeurs don't show up unless something big is going on they don't directly interfere with anything but if they pop up it's like they're a beacon.

Thoth: Now that has been cleared up what do you know about the light inside of your body?

"It is a paracausal force existing before time and space it's very purpose is to nurture and create life. I feel that I could manipulate this power to an extent but I am not sure about it's limits"

Thoth: Fascinating would you be willing to join the Egyptian pantheon

Thor: Thoth don't overstep yourself you know that is the exact reason why we are having the meeting between our three pantheons he cannot be left unattended especially now considering his new abilities

Themis: I agree I will inform Zeus of these developments

Thoth: Then I guess I will just inform Ra and I think it would be best if we meet back here for the meeting to determine our course of action going forward as it is unaffiliated with any powers giving no one a tactical advantage

Thor: Agreed

Both gods turned to face Themis awaiting her response.

Themis: I will do my best to convince Zeus to agree to these terms but... it's Zeus I can't guarantee his behavior or decisions

Thor: Then we can only hope that Zeus won't be his usual arrogant devious self

Wonder Woman: That is blasphemy! Zeus is a wise god king!

Thor: I never said that he is a fool and I don't answer to him I serve my father Odin.

Thoth: It technically isn't even blasphemy as Thor is also a god besides Zeus has a reputation even amongst the mortals
