It was only when the Ragnarok plan had just been announced that it was discovered.
"What is this?"
A strange object was found in a small European town. It was an unintelligible device.
Its shape, pattern, and technology are beyond the comprehension of mankind.
Little did they know that it had been destroyed in a research center in the Jilin Republic.
"What?!"
"It's suddenly moving!"
"Ma, magic, evacuate everyone!"
The timing was when the Gates of the World transformed into fluctuating gates. It began to operate as if it had been waiting for the right time.
* * * * *
Monsters pour out in New York, Paris, Berlin, Washington, Los Angeles.
-What, what! The gate suddenly became a fluctuating gate!
-It's a dungeon break?! The monsters inside have changed too!
The Beast Gods attacked all the continents.
-Respond! Gather all the Hunters!
-Why at this time!
Although humanity has become accustomed to monster invasions due to dungeon breaks, they have never experienced such a simultaneous dungeon break before.
Hunters were summoned and armies were mobilized, but they were unable to stop them.
"Damn, this thing is hard!"
"Too fast! Field Boss monsters are popping out by the hundreds!"
Each and every one of the 'tattooed' beasts was hard, fast, and strong.
They were also monsters that were favored by the gods, albeit widely. A far cry from the monsters within the gates that humans had faced so far.
"Lionheart, bring me the users of the Lionheart Holy Law!"
"They're all at war on the continent right now!"
"Ha, just at this time------"
The leaders watched the burning city with a dejected expression. All they could do was hope that the Continental War would end as soon as possible.
* * * * *
Meanwhile, the Beast Gods have invaded Korea in a big way.
While watching the war against the Orc Federation from the Blue House and praying for the Lionheart's victory, President Ahn Dong-gil moved to the air defense to escape the Beast Gods' invasion of Seoul.
"Have you gotten in touch with His Majesty Leon?"
Ahn asked Oh Kang-hyuk, the president of the association.
"We lost contact a while ago. Our satellites were destroyed, and we can't even observe them."
"No, why was your satellite in space destroyed, was it nuked or something?"
The Orc Continental Federation has spared no nuclear weapons against the Lionheart Federation, even if it doesn't directly hit their troops, it threatens their allies.
All who enter will die, except those protected by the Holy Knights.
"No, they say the King and the Orc High Khan clashed a while ago, and all the satellites in low orbit were destroyed in the aftermath."
"Crazy---why would the satellites------"
But there's no point in arguing the practicality of it; it's no secret how out of this world they are, how divine beyond humanity.
"Damn, I guess we'll have to give up on sending reinforcements."
"Yes, my teeth are chattering, but I have no choice but to trust them."
President Ahn Dong-gil and Oh Kang-hyuk were discussing the secondary reinforcements to be sent to Shanhaiguan. They were planning to send the elite of the top ten guilds in the country to push back the Shanhaiguan frontline------
"Your Excellency, dodge!"
A bodyguard shouted in alarm. President Ahn instantly saw a giant beast rushing toward him.
-Kaaaaaaaah!!!
At that moment, Oh Kang-hyuk wrapped his arms around the president──
-Crrrrrrrrr!!!
The dragon flew out of nowhere and bit the black eagle's body, biting it here and there before throwing it to the ground.
The huge black eagle, which could have been a hundred meters long if it spread its wings, was torn to shreds under the dragon's teeth.
"Dragon------"
[President Ahn]
The blue dragon made eye contact with President Ahn. He was a diplomat sent by the Black Dragon, the special mayor of Pyongyang.
[Hurry up and get to the air defense, it's dangerous here]
Just then, arrows flew and tree roots shot down the beasts, it was the elves and tree men who had come with the envoys.
"Your Excellency, at your service."
"Yes------"
President Ahn hurried to the air defense arc and looked at the beasts that covered Seoul.
"Is this the end of the world------?"
It was like an apocalyptic declaration to mankind, and as he swallowed hard-──
────■■■■■■■■■■■■!!!
A flash passed. A 'golden light' so intense that it streaked across the sky and left a mark on the universe.
"Uh, what the hell?!"
He didn't have to ask what the hell that was.
Everyone knew that it was the polarizing light wielded by the gods' chosen agent.
And that's not all.
────■■■■■■■■■■■■!!!
The red wave that splits the universe breaks the gate that was summoned to the sky. There is no need to ask how many black eagles perished in the rays.
"They are fighting------"
They are, even in this hellish landscape.
* * * * *
There was nothing left around the Lionheart King and the Great Khan.
How much of the terrain would survive the shockwave, with buildings being uprooted by the shockwave?
But a third party interrupts their confrontation.
"Black eagles------"
"White wolves."
The familiar beast-gods are swarming in from all directions.
Black eagles fill the sky to the point of blocking out the sun, while B white wolves, iron bears and demonic boars fill the earth.
-Kill! Kill them! Kill them!
-Must! Must!
It was an unspeakable cry. Gathered to fulfill their master's command, they recreate a living hell.
"Hmm. That's a lot."
"The beasts------"
In less than ten minutes, the world was covered. As if there were no limit, an infinite wave of beasts gathered at an "uncountable" level beyond recognition.
[Lionheart...!]
A great iron bear tears down buildings with his hands.
A black eagle creates storms with its wings.
A white raven whose roar shakes the sky.
A demonic boar, who triggers earthquakes with his footsteps.
The first thing they do when they appear after a long silence is to declare war on the great demigods.
All of them, and the great armies they lead, ignore the orcs and knights and gather before the High Khan and the Lionheart King.
The beasts gathered here now are far greater in number than the beasts that have ravaged the world.
Yes, they have come to risk everything to overthrow these two monsters.
They know, both objectively and instinctively, that if they don't get rid of them, it's all over.
"Kkkkkkk. Things are getting pretty muddy."
"It makes no difference. You die here."
The fight stops when a third force enters the picture but the parties have no intention of stopping here.
"You must be mistaken, I'm at a level where killing everyone here and conquering the world is within my grasp...if it weren't for you."
"You're surprisingly self-absorbed for a beast."
Leon and Murka still stare at each other. As if the only thing that threatens them on this battlefield is each other.
[------]
That offended the beast gods.
[Kill them, kill those two, and this world is ours]
They give the order to the savage beasts who would have accepted their worshipful tattoos and sworn obedience.
But──
-Crrr------
-Kiieie------
The beasts fill the formation surrounding the two men more closely, but that's all.
Even with the hell they've created, their infinite waves barely reach the two of them.
Even with their master's orders.
[Bastards!!!]
[Move!!]
As a result, the gods' anger reaches its peak. Even so, the ones who took the first step were not the beasts.
"Lionheart---!"
"Balak---!"
The two demigods rush toward each other, as if they have nothing else on their minds but each other.
Mace──
Holy sword──
──sweep past each other, sweeping away the other.
────■■■■■■■■■■■■!!
────■■■■■■■■■■■■!!
A red storm and a golden tide wash over the beasts.
At the same time──
[How dare the lowly beasts target the knight of the goddess!!!]
Arianna of light and justice.
Petos of war and flame.
Demera of life and abundance.
Ultima of the sky and thunder.
Tatar of the sun and judgment.
Poma of the sea and waves.
Dinah of the moon and purity.
Fle of dreams and death.
Heto of iron and blacksmithing.
In response to the divine descent of the Lionheart King, all gods descend in powerful incarnations――
[WHAAAAAAAAAA──!! This is the greatest struggle in orc history! You dare! You dare! You interfere!!!]
The giant form of Helkan the Fighting God trampled the beasts, the spirit of Gokrok the Shaman unleashed a green flash of doom, and the javelins of Skunik the Hunting God burst forth in all directions.
The descent of the gods, captured by the infinite vessels of the strongest Lionheart King of all time and the Greatest Orc it's a storm that rises above the waves of the beasts, and it destroys them.
Hell is demolished under the wrath of the gods, who do not forgive the beasts for their very existence.
In a landscape where the end of the world seems to be approaching, they are the only gods that Earthlings can find.
At this moment, there are warriors at the end of everyone's prayers for life.
Even demons and beast gods were not wrong in their judgment.
Kill these monsters before they can re-establish themselves, form nations, and multiply again.
The seeds must be thoroughly trampled to extinction before they germinate..
It is the best option for their survival. But──
"Glory be to the Lionheart!"
"Don't interfere with the orcs' struggle, you buggers!"
They are 'singularities in history' that overcome any danger or disadvantage.
* * * * *
Ten days and three nights passed.
The raids of the beasts that had overwhelmed the world were swiftly subdued with each passing day.
This was possible because the beasts that had overrun the world had, at some point, been driven somewhere else.
As if sensing their master's crisis, they abandoned the prey in front of them and hurried to one continent after another.
But how many died before they crossed the sea, crossed the mountains, flew through the sky, and approached a city?
How many had fallen, only to be swept aside by the blow of a sword or the surge of a mace?
The center of battle was no longer a city, as the beasts from the entire planet rushed into it.
It was as if there had never been a city in the first place, just a plain of manure and scrap metal, with countless carcasses piled up to replace the buildings of the city.
[Nonsense]
With a thud, a giant bear falls. The fall of the building-sized beast kicked up a cloud of dust.
"Kek, kek, kek---!"
Ha-ri coughed and rubbed her eyes from the huge dust storm. Karina came up beside her and handed her a handkerchief.
"Ah, thank you."
"Finally."
Ha-ri and Karina aren't the only ones huddled there.
Holy Knights Koo Dae-sung and Yappy along with the Knights of the Lionheart, the dragons….and orcs.
Having temporarily stopped fighting after the beasts attacked, they are now spectators to the final battle.
After thirteen days of endless beast slaughter, mountains of corpses before the two demigods.
"Krrr------"
"Kaak, tsk!"
Fighting at full strength, they slaughtered the beasts with maces and swords.
Though their strength and holy power were on the verge of exhaustion, they showed no signs of weariness.
Their perfect vigor allows them to fight without end.
[Kkkkk---!]
[------]
And here, even the gods are mere spectators.
The orc gods and the gods of the pantheon, who had defended their agents as they slaughtered the beasts, have chosen to return all their powers and remain spectators.
To witness the final battle between the Lionheart King Leon Dragonia Lionheart and the Orc High Khan Murka Balak.
"------"
"------"
The two demigods walked silently toward each other across a battlefield littered with the carcasses of beasts.
For thirteen days, neither of them spoke, just slaughtered beasts in a competitive, mutually conscious manner.
But the real battle would end in a blow that would separate them.
"You're exhausted, beast."
Leon sneered at Murka, whose body was covered in blood but Murka is not to be mocked.
"So much for your fancy tin armor. So much for your fire."
Leon is drained, his armor is shattered and his body screams in pain but he could not fall.
In this final moment, with his nemesis in front of him, he dare not allow himself to fall.
"Now go to hell, tin can!"
"Die, you beast!"
Swords and maces are swung at the hated opponent.
The sword pierces the abdomen while the mace shatters the shoulder.
One presses his skin tightly to stop the pouring blood, and the other twists his arm back into place to straighten it.
Sword and mace clash again, in a battle of strength.
Murka's forehead smashes into Leon's.
-Thud!
It was a dizzying clash of skulls but Leon didn't lose.
"You savage beast!"
And he returns the favor as Murka is knocked back.
"You have no time for decency!"
He chuckles and strikes again. Leon leaps forward, his sword deflecting the mace.
Murka lunges forward, unwilling to back down.
Neither of them can swing their sword or mace, and their empty hands move.
-Boom!
Counter punches thrown at the same time. Even as each other's faces are crushed──
"Murkaaaa---!"
"Leooooon---!"
They don't stop.
Swinging, slashing, fighting.
They were pushed to the limits that only happen once in a lifetime.
And so, as they unconsciously lament the coming end──
"Whoa---!"
A step backward.
Two steps forward, of course.
Squeezing every last ounce of strength out of each other, delivering the final blow──
-Die.
The two felt the same sensation at the same time.
And with that, one of them dies. Each senses the other's defeat in a struggle that had been so distant to them.
But so be it.
They move forward as if by instinct.
They are representatives of their species. They cannot and must not retreat, and they will not accept defeat.
Unleash Thrust
Unleash Holy Sword
The blow that cost them their lives.
The moment they collide──the loser is decided.
* * * * *
Everyone held their breath as the battle was decided.
"Your Majesty---!"
Beatrice, who had been forced to watch the one-on-one confrontation, finally bursts out at Leon with trembling lips and it was the same for everyone else.
Even though they felt like they had to run right now, they just can't move.
The reason is simply an instinctive feeling that 'it has to be that way'. A sense of awe that no one dares to add noise to this battle of the century and that goes for the orcs as well.
They saw no right to interfere with the end of this showdown.
And so, as everyone watched, Murka took a step back.
Just one step. Then he let out a harsh breath.
"Khhhhh------"
Murka looked down at his body, split in half from shoulder to thigh, then he stared at the broken mace.
A half-step short.
He is devastated at the first defeat of his life.
He'd turned great orc chieftains upside down, cracked the skulls of demon lords, and this was his first defeat, and it was awkward and gut-wrenching.
But one he had no choice but to admit.
He was a fighter, and he knew what a loser's duty was.
"I lost."
At the blunt admission Leon replied.
"I won."
He nodded at the condescending declaration. All that remains is 'my duties as High Khan'.
"Leader of the Orc Continental Federation, High Khan Murka Balak, I propose to you!"
Leon's gaze flinched at the words, his brow narrowing as if he'd heard an unpleasant declaration.
"You think the loser is the subject of an offer to the winner?"
"Hmph, not impossible. I suppose we still have something to negotiate?"
"You------"
Murka said to Leon, who looked like he'd been poked in a sore spot.
"Cease all hostilities against the Orc Federation from now on, and we will------"
Murka looked around at the orcs watching him. Their faces were sullen, and now it was his duty as High Khan to give them a way to live, now that they were destined to be slaughtered in the hunt for the defeated.
"All the orcs of this planet will be taken away by the orc gods."
A de facto declaration of the end of the war.
Leon thought of the Orc warlords who would resist and the chaos that scarred the world.
Perhaps the Lionheart Federation would prevail in the end but the Orc Continental Federation, the great anti-world confederation, would resist to the end.
They would find glory and honor in the struggle, even in this unfavorable fight.
Even Lionheart in his prime was unable to exterminate the orcs in the end. Then──
"Very well. I accept your offer."
If it's the only chance to rid the world of orcs once and for all.
Leon accepted the offer, even though his teeth chattered.
"Take your race and get the fuck out of------ chit."
Leon clicked his tongue at Murka, who didn't respond. He remained standing, his eyes open, not taking another breath.
"He was an orc until the end."
The war is over.
