"I here you're no longer with that Noa girl" Amanda said as she approached Cardan who was reading a book while therapeutically laying on his window bed or nook.
Cardan removed the book from his face as he stood up to greet his mother "Not even a good afternoon. Where have your manners gone mother" he teased her as he set her down on the window nook.
Amanda smiled at him she she lightly hit his head "Oh shush. You still haven't answered my question."
Cardan chuckled before answering "Yeah me and Noa are over and I'm with someone I adore even more then the word itself. It isn't enough to express what I feel for her."
He even doubted if that word existed.
Amanda smiled. She could already see it in his eyes "And does that girl happen to be the one whose pictures filled your phone?" she said but it felt more like a question.
Cardan blushed "How could you tell."
"Motherly instinct" she whispered teasingly.
Cardan just shook his head.
