"While you boys make the coffee I'm going to talk to Ria, she should be out of the shower by now," she said and walked away.
Going into the kitchen Ryan turned to Robbie. "You and Nelly seem to be hitting it off."
"I think she might be the one, she's so different from the other women I've known. But what happens next Ryan, are you going to ask her to marry you now?"
"Not yet, I'm waiting for the right moment." He chuckled. "Can you just picture the look on mother and father's faces when I tell them I'm getting married? Father will have a heart attack when I tell him I'm not going to ask her for a prenup."
"Do you think that's wise? I mean if anything were to happen she could take you for half of everything you have."
Ryan placed his hand on Robbie's shoulder. "What Ria and I have will last forever, there's no doubt in my mind. If it were to end then I would be more than willing to give her half. Now grab the mugs from the cupboard and the bagels and cream cheese, I'm starving."
Ria and Nelly sat on the bed talking.
"I want to thank you for helping me in realizing I loved Ryan and forcing me to face him. I do love him so much."
"I know you do. So has he asked you to marry him? I mean he has the ring and you two are back together. That would be the next step, right?"
"He hasn't mentioned the ring and neither have I and I don't plan on doing so. If he has changed his mind about marriage I'll respect that as long as we are together I'm happy. We don't need a piece of paper to show how much we love each other."
"But it would be nice to be Mrs. Ryan Carter wouldn't it?"
She lowered her head, a smile crept up on her lips. "Yes, it would be wonderful but if it doesn't happen I'm OK with that. Now let's go have some coffee and something to eat, I'm starving."
Nelly giggled. "Yeah, I bet you worked up quite an appetite during the night."
"Oh you're terrible," she answered, swatting Nelly on the arm as she ushered her out of the bedroom.
