"Help yourself," he said. He was impressed with her, she didn't even hint that she wanted to spend the night. Even if she had he would have refused her, he only wanted s€x from her, not a sleeping partner.
Showered and dressed he offered her a drink before she left, but she declined. "That was amazing Ria, we'll do it again soon," he said, walking her to the door and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek
Ria was grateful to Ryan for having his driver take her home, she was sore and beat and had to be up in a few short hours for work. Arriving at work she was greeted by her friend and co-worker, Nelly Walker.
"Ria, you're running a bit late, Mr. Milton wants to see you ASAP."
"Morning Nelly," she said, rushing past her to drop off her purse and briefcase in her office before going to see her boss. She was wondering what he wanted so early, she hoped it had to do with the promotion she was up for. There were only two of them that were in line for it, she and a Mathew Campbell who was nothing but a slimy @ss kissing jerk.
"You wanted to see me, Mr. Milton," she asked, entering his office.
"Yes, come in Ria and have a seat."
"I hope nothing is wrong, the transaction with Mr. Carter and the property went very smooth." She was feeling a bit nervous, in this business, anything could go wrong.
"No, he was very satisfied with you, said you performed well."
She began squirming in her seat, what exactly was meant by that left her filled with dread. Had Ryan told her boss about what went on between them? If so she could be fired for sleeping with a client.
"He's actually looking for another piece of land and has requested that you help him pick out a suitable area where he can build another office building. I'd like you to persuade him into buying the lot on the other side of Manhattan. He asked for you to go over to his place tonight and show him the plans and go over pricing."
"Tonight, after hours?" she asked, her boss had never asked her to work after hours.
"Yes, he said it was the only time he had."
"Alright, I'll gather all the information and take it over." She stands to leave and when she reached the door he called out to her.
"Ria, if you can nail another contract with him it just might put you in the lead for that promotion."
She smiles and nods before walking out.
