I open the door to see Terrance. He's in this adorable outfit. It's an unbuttoned striped shirt with a white T that is a little too small and a pair of jeans that are two toned. I feel a little underdressed since I'm in my cargo shorts which are covered in paint and a sweater that has burgers with faces on it.
"You ready?" Terrance asks
"Yeah! I cleaned my art room for this!"
We walk down the stairs to my still messy art room. We walk in and I see his eyes light up. I realized I had left my recent unfinished painting on the wall. I run to put it away but he stops me.
"Wow, you painted this?" He says, his eyes full of wonder.
" I-uh yeah, yeah I did"
"It's incredible. wow."
It was a painting of a puddle but it is a very special thing to me. "Anyway we should paint the rocks now!"
"Ok!" I put on my painting playlist and take out a basket of rocks.
"Wow, that's a lot of rocks."
"Heh, yeah I collect them!" Terrance reaches for his bag, and pulls out some rocks.
"I collect lots of trinkets, and that includes rocks, so I picked out the prettiest ones I had, just for this."
"Woah, where do you get these?"
"Well they're all from different places, like the beach and the woods!" He looks so happy to be talking about his rocks, I can't help but smile.

After we finished painting our rocks we decided to watch a movie as they dried. As we watch the movie, (a generic horror movie that really wasn't all that scary), I notice Terrance leaning on my shoulder. I glanced over at him, and he didn't seem to notice it. I snap my head back to the movie. After about thirty minutes Terrance had fallen asleep on my shoulder, I was panicking like crazy. After a while he woke up and checked his phone and started to panic.
"Oh boy, oh no!" He cursed.
"What?"
"My parents, they have a strict curfew."
"And, when is that?"
"10:00pm!"
"Oh fiddlesticks."
"I'm sorry fiddle what?!"
" Shut up." I laugh. "You should go pack your stuff up."
"You're right, my mom is gonna be so mad."
" Do you want me to drop you off?"
" sure"
"Ok, I'll start the car, go grab your stuff."
