During meal time, Charlie was sitting next to Albert, eating and talking to him about the rules of Quidditch. He also suggested that Albert should go through the "Quidditch Through The Ages" book at some time.
"How long has the longest game at Hogwarts happened?" Albert asked curiously. If the Quidditch game is over after catching the Snitch, what about when the Snitch is lost or never caught?
"It is said that it a game continued for almost 3 months." Charlie thought about it and said, "Finally, the players couldn't find the Snitch, so the game was forcefully ended, and the side with the most points won the game." {AN: This line was incorrectly written in the Fan-fic.I fact-checked it and put the same line that Oliver Wood told Harry Potter in the books. While several people were chatting about Quidditch, suddenly a female voice interrupted their conversation.
"Albert, Professor McGonagall asked me to give it to you," said Angelina while handing Albert a folded parchment.
"Thank you, Angelina." Albert nodded at her and took the parchment and opened it to read:
'' At 7 p.m. on Thursday, on the sixth floor of the castle, classroom 21, keep in mind Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration ''
"What is this?" Fred, who was eating a piece of fried chicken, dropped his fork {AN: FRIED CHICKEN WITH A FORK?!?! PYSCHOPATH} and moved his head to look at the note in Albert's hand.
"Professor McGonagall's notice, It's the time and place of the next Transfiguration Club meeting." Albert did not intend to hide the event and passed the parchment to Fred directly.
The twins and Lee Jordan immediately rushed to read the contents of the parchment.
"Transformation Club, what is that?" Charlie stopped talking suddenly and looked at Albert suspiciously.
"The club formed by Professor McGonagall," Albert explained.
"What does remembering Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration mean?" George asked a little puzzled.
"Probably the password to enter the classroom where the meeting is held." Albert thought for a while and gave his guess.
"I am Sorry in advance Charlie, if Quidditch training conflicts with the activity time of the Transformation Club, I'm afraid I will put the Transformation Club first."
"Oh, I almost forgot, It's this afternoon, right?" Lee Jordan remembered it and reminded others. The four looked and each other and sighed at Charlie's misfortune.
All four of them can see that Charlie has the idea to train Albert to be a seeker but the plan is finished before it even began.
They don't know that Albert has no plans to join the Quidditch team at all. For him, flying on a flying broomstick is a kind of enjoyment. Quidditch games may be interesting, but Albert does not want to conduct strict Quidditch training, let alone become a Quidditch player and train in dire situations and conditions.
As for joining a Quidditch team after graduating? Yeah no thanks!
Charlie was taken aback, what about the secret weapon plan?
Without arguing or anything Charlie decided to slip away silently. Charlie decided to find out what was going on first before taking action of any sort.
"Charlie wants to win another Quidditch trophy for Gryffindor before he leaves." Fred looked at Charlie's departure and shook his head.
After the meal, the four of them returned to the Gryffindor lounge. There were people everywhere, and the noise made Albert feel like his head was about to explode.
The school year had just begun, and the Gryffindor students were still adjusting after their summer break. After a few extra days and when they have a significant amount of homework to complete only will their energy recede as they have little time for leisure activities then.
"Let's go to the Hall!" Albert thought for a while and decided to take books to the Great Hall to read, and also take some time to practice magic.
There were fewer people in the Great Hall compared to the lounge, and Albert found himself in a quiet place and sat.
At the entrance of the Great Hall, Shanna spotted Albert and walked over to him. She sat down and started practising the glowing spell.
When Albert saw the other person trying several times, but never succeeding in using the glowing spell, he reminded her, "You should have confidence in yourself and focus. When casting a spell, imagine that your wand will glow before casting. "
Shanna's face flushed slightly at his advice and tried again, but she still failed.
"Your mentality is wrong. This will affect your success rate for casting spells. If you keep thinking that you are not good enough, your chances of failure will increase by at least three levels." Albert pointed to the small box next to him, "Would you like some? Don't worry, these are chocolate beans."
"How did you know?" Shanna ate a few chocolate beans and couldn't help asking, "I mean, how do you know these help to cast the spell successfully?"
"Do you believe me If I say I guessed them?" Albert said with a smile.
"Do not."
"Well, it is a conclusion drawn from the failure of Transfiguration too many times." Albert did not lie. Well, It should be said that half of what he said is true, "Wizards' emotions will affect their spells."
"I'll try again." Shanna felt that the chocolate beans in her mouth were a bit sweet {Arent they supposed to?}. She took a deep breath, and after a few more attempts, she finally succeeded in lighting up her wand and Smiled excitedly.
However, the light on Shanna's wand quickly went out again.
"You need to concentrate, and you need a lot of practice in the end you will succeed." Albert comforted.
"I thought you would go to the library." Lee Jordan sat down beside Albert and looked suspiciously at Shanna who was practising the spell, and asked, "I didn't disturb you two, right?"
Albert ignored Lee and asked, "Where are the two of them?"
"I don't know." Seeing Shanna practising the Illumination Charm, Lee Jordan also took out his wand to practice. He had only half-heartedly mastered the Illumination Charm after all.
"It's probably because you are not focused enough!"
"What is the necessary amount of focus though?" Lee Jordan was a little depressed, but still began to concentrate on practising. Although there is still time for the next charms class, the charm should at least be mastered before it.
"Can this be considered successful?"Lee asked while his wand glowed as bright as a firefly on a sunny day
"If you don't focus on your spell, you can keep it glowing all the time, Truly marvellous. Do you think this should be considered a success?" Albert sarcastically replied.
Shanna's progress was slow, but the effect was still very good.
As long as you practice hard, most spells are not too difficult to master.
"Where have you been?"
At about half past eight, the twins finally appeared in the Great Hall, neither of them looked pretty.
"Filch just took away most of our dung bombs," Fred said through gritted teeth.
"What's the matter?" Albert looked at the two suspiciously and asked, "Did you two get caught while throwing a dung bomb or something?"
"This is how things are..." George, who is fairly calm in his head, explained the general things.
Not long ago, the two were punished by Peeves, and then they went back to the dormitory to get a big dung bomb to get back on Peeves, but before they could take action they were caught by Filchand most of their Dung Bombs were confiscated.
Filch said it was prohibited and confiscated the big Dung bomb they were preparing to deal with Peeves the Poltergeist.
The twins' noses were crooked (Chinese saying for being pissed/mad).
Albert felt speechless after listening to the two of them.
What kind of trouble are these getting themselves getting into and why do they act like they are the victims and Filch is the culprit while they are at fault?
