Chapter 33 - chapter 33 : Aslan and mikaela's past

Young Aslan and Mikaela, ran to find shelter from the spreading virus. The little children ran with extreme fear. Their beautiful city was destroyed in one night due to a virus created by evil scientists. The children entered into a place they called the foundation. They are children who are abandoned or abandoned by their parents. Mikaela, who was older than the others, led her siblings into a higher floor.

They ran into a corpse lying in the room they were headed for. The corpse of an old woman who had been taking care of them.

"Mika...the chief has..."

"You keep an eye on everything, Aslan." Mika shouted. Aslan who did not understand anything could only be silent. It didn't take long for the sound of several people's footsteps to go up to the floor where they were. They backed away and turned their backs on each other. There's nothing little kids like them can do. They don't even know what happened now. The footsteps were getting closer, the children could only lower their heads and surrender. There was no way out for them to run.

Aslan turned to the window when a black shadow passed by.

Prankkk

From the window emerged a humanoid mutant with a pale face and snake-lined eyes.

From the door also appeared another figure of the same mutant. The children screamed in fear while retreating to the corner of the room. Mikaela and Aslan tried to calm their frightened sisters.

Dozens of cars sped away from the devastated city. Aslan and the others could only look down in resignation as the mutants took them. They don't know what their next fate will be. Another car also carried dozens of children who were still alive. They were taken somewhere for some evil thing. Aslan looked sadly at the youngest child, who was fast asleep in his lap. Anger, hate, all in one. But for the size of a small child, he can not do anything.

4 years later.....

A city with a gloomy landscape, a place where cursed humans turn themselves into monsters just for something useless. They crave immortality so much that they can live forever. In that city many young children live in fear. The children were used as experimental material from their crazy trials. Once a week, they are collected for data as the most suitable object.

"Next!"

A child who had the sharpest gaze of all walked forward lazily. "Aslan". he said.

Aslan is in the data with a special tool.

"Next!".

Now it was the turn of the yellow-haired child who was not much different from Aslan.

"Mikaela". he said.

After their data collection was complete, they were herded and put to sleep in a special tool with hoses that sucked their blood. In that enormous room, dozens of children in slave clothes were sleeping. The mutants in charge of watching over them if someone escapes. Their blood is channeled using a hose that is installed in such a way. This is very routinely done every Sunday. After that was done, they were released to live as usual in the city. No child has ever managed to escape from there, the mutants have very sharp sensors, if anyone is caught running away, they will be killed immediately.

Even though they are free, they still live in fear. Like a bird in a cage that can never know freedom. In addition, they are required to drink a special drink given by the mutants. I don't know what the function of the drink is, what is clear is that they must not violate what has been ordered. By this time Mikaela had already gulped down her drink. Unlike Aslan, the boy never wanted to follow the rules. He has the temperament of a rebel. Aslan groaned and squeezed the drink he was holding until it spilled.

"You don't drink it anymore? Your body will hurt" Mikaela said.

"How is it possible! I drink this bitter drink". Said Aslan lazily and sat his butt near mikaela. The yellow haired boy sighed.

"You're a picky child." he said.

"You don't want to be ordered around yourself." Reply Aslan.

Mikaela stared ahead, her expression a little serious. "I think treatment they're not so bad."

"Seriously you say that?". Aslan said surprised.

Mikaela stood up and stepped forward. He saw the entire city which was almost all very gloomy.

"We won't be killed, if we follow the rules. And more importantly, our family can gather together. That's enough, right?". Mikaela said while throwing away her drink.

"I'm not their slave!". Said Aslan firmly.

"You already know, being stubborn like that won't—" Aslan interrupted Mikaela by throwing his drink. Mikaela dodged and the drink fell near two children who were drawing on the floor. It wasn't long before two mutants walked casually.

The two mutants paid no heed to the two children in front of them. They stepped on one child's hand and kicked the other. A furious Aslan ran and tried to punch the two mutants.

"Aslan don't!" Stop Mikaela.

The mutant grabbed Aslan by the collar and lifted him up.

"Apologize". Said Aslan a little restrained.

"I said sorry!".

"Sorry! My sister really doesn't understand manners— therefore please forgive her." Mikaela pleaded.

"Never mind mika! They really need to be given a mop—". The mutant takes Aslan to the end of the building. Get ready to kill him.

"Good morning". Said a white-haired mutant from behind with several of his subordinates. Aslan was thrown to the floor with a bang. The child coughed coughed as he almost lost his breath.

"Is he the leader?" Aslan said looking at the white-haired mutant. Who drew near to them. Meanwhile, the two mutants that had strangled him had left.

Mr Ferid! Mikaela said running over to the white-haired mutant. Aslan himself just gaped curiously, why Mika could get along with this mutant.

"Hi, mika! What were you doing earlier?". Ask Fred.

"It's nothing, it's just that one of my family is making noise" Mikaela said.

"It's too much trouble taking care of them huh? By the way, will you come over to my place tonight?". Ferid said while stroking Mikaela's head.

"With pleasure". Mikalea replied.

"Good boy, because your blood is really needed by us." Ferid then turned to Aslan.

"Then what children over there will also come?". he asked.

"Huh? Yes definitely n—".

"He's a shy kid, so maybe next time". Mikaela Cut.

"Oh? Yes, too bad".

Mikaela then takes Aslan away. Meanwhile, Ferid just smirked and left from there.
